i agree with S1REN The bat's sprite is not up to date with Repentance. Maybe someone can do the sprite work for this mod.

well in repentance you could just make them start with the sword item but otherwise you can do the same thing as a couple other people and just copy over this mods code, changing the checks for 'if the player has this item' to 'if the player is this character'

is there a way to add a forgotten type melee attack for my own modded character? been looking about it for days and can't find anything on it except this mod page, you think you could help?

The playable character Ness that starts with this item is Repentance compatible now, so this should be too right?

the swing attack does 3 times whatever your attack stat is (and for some reason changing the entities contact damage does nothing), so to adjust the baseball bats damage the mod has to change the players attack the moment the swing attack is spawned then put it back to what it was, so yeah if you set it to anything other than 3 times damage you might occasionally notice it being different for a frame but it shouldn't affect anything else

when i swing with 2x damage, i see my damage flicker, when i perfectly paused it, it was lowered damage. When i put it into any other damage, it doesnt lower or even flicker to a different damage

idea someone add spirit sword from antibirth to afterbirth

In the latest update you can change the bats settings, including damage, swing rate and whether is blocks your tears or not.

can you make a version of this mod that disables tears?

its meant to replicate the forgottens bone club as closely as possible, which is not able to deflect projectiles unless you have the item called 'lost contact'

it doesn't deflect projectiles? "it can deflect projectiles if you have lost contact." what does "lost contact." mean?
