Hey, is it cool if I convert it to SSE? Also, does it require SKSE or have any DLLs in it?

Issue was resolved by saving, exiting the game then after loading, leave area & come back. Think it's either a fault my end or Bethesda's buggy history still biting. Not using any Special edition of Skyrim as well, still the same updated (patched) version back when Skyrim was released & all the DLC bought for it about 2 years ago :)

Thanks for reporting this bug, Joeker. If you change your load order the trainers at SCC should work, even if other trainers may not.

This is such a great thing to have but once I've entered the College & interacted with anyone (I didn't raise any skills, sold them some books & weapons) any NPCs that can train you outside the college won't. They'll "Show you what I know" then the game doesn't open their menu to train instead it just ends the conversation

@rko381 re: you mentioning you hope to find someone willing to convert this mod for more recent releases of Skyrim -- idk if you've logged onto the Nexus in recent times, but there's actually someone on your mod's page there in the comments who's got a Skyrim SE port made & is just waiting on your permission to share it.

@~Élunia~ ||| My mod does not change the game enough to cause the problem you are describing. It sounds like you have corrupted files in your Steam folder. When you uninstall Skyrim, most of your game files and DATA folder remain in the Steam32 folder. You may need to uninstall, then delete the Skyrim folder/files from your Steam32 folder, shutdown and restart your computer, and THEN reinstall Skyrim. You will have to also reinstall your mods after than, but this should work. Best of luck!

I have no clue if it's related to this mod, but for almost two years now my Skyrim is completely broken, I can't start the main quest at all and from the start (leaving helgen) the npc standing behind a rock while Alduin flies over is not there.

Ontop of that I have seen something strange which occurs with EVERY single npc in the game that is not hostile to me: I have weird options bellow all the normal conversation choices which can let me trade with every npc like I would with a merchant.

And that thing is super painful, I've been trying to find which mod does it and I can't put my hands on it because whatever I do, even with zero mods, the thing stays into the game and I have to reinstall.

Hi @rko381, my issue was with the Frostbrook Farm mod. Modder left testing script in and never updated; finally confirmed this on pg 44 of 55 comment pages. Resubbing and upvoting your excellent mod. Thanks for the reply and for caring. :)

i lowered it to lowest load order and it seemed to work. thanks! Maybe a restart of the game fixed it too it was either of the two actions that fixed it

@=-= Did you install any new mods or change your load order? You may need to uninstall, reinstall, and change your load order to get it to work right. Let us know what happens.

Hey all the npcs in the building disappeared, didnt add any new mods it just happened randomly.

@denstat - I have never run into that, nor have I heard from anyone else that this happened to their game. I am not sure if my mod caused this or not, but let me know what you discover as you trouble shoot.

A message appears constantly in the upper right corner of the screen that says “Player has joined all three main factions.” Is there any chance that this could be from your mod? I’m also investigating Better Training and a dragon souls mod that I installed at the same time, but thought I would ask in case it rang a bell. Thanks. Love your mod otherwise.

@Reesel878 - I have not done any modding for years, and I don't remember how to use the Creation Kit. There are several coding changes necessary to make it work in SE. So I would need someone to make a functional conversion for me.

@Lost Trekkie - Must be a conflict with another mod that also impacts trainers or the Thieves Guild. Sorry you're having trouble.

Not sure if it's due to a conflict or not, but the pickpocket trainer keeps telling me that I already know everything he knows. I'm only at level 5, so that's impossible. I've tried moving the ESP all the way down to the bottom, but nothing has changed.

This, by far, is my essential mod. Thank you!

Thank you! This solves one of my biggest problems with Skyrim.

If I had someone to help me fix it for an SE release, I would do it in a heartbeat. But it has been so long since I've modded, I don't know how to convert it and fix some of the errors. So, if anyone wants to do an SE conversion, reach out to me.

If you are having a problem with the mod in any way, please follow these tips BEFORE you post any comments.

1. Change your load order: Move the mod up or down in the Skyrim mod manager. Items at the bottom of the list load earlier than items at the top of the list. Adjusting the load order often fixes all problems.
2. Double check to make sure you are not running any mods that would conflict with this one. Conflicts are often caused by dirty mods referencing other aspects of the game, or clean mods that effect the same and/or associated items as this mod.
