I downloaded the mod, but when I try it inside the game there is nothing to see

the bluer water mod is the other mod with th eANZ key right? you mean if i use that mod it include this? or i can use THAT key for this mod?

@ANZACSAS Steven Sorry for not being really specific, what I meant was that I have to almost be eight feet from the ground for the effects to truly show up. I will definitely check the lite version though

@fowler.joshuadouglas, the brownout effect is better now.From 3rd person view the dust may seem less.But i think you will find from 1st person view this version obscures view more.Have you tried the Lite version.Maybe you will prefer that one.

Do you have plans to make an alternative version that brings back the true brownout that it had before the optimization?

Is the AIs vision also blocked by the dust effects?

this has the same key as your other mod? what key do i use if i use both mods?

@ElzearContelly2 ,I gave this a bit of an optimisation.The amount is less but its been edited so that the less dust will block view more.Its harder to see through now.

@autistensohn , Thanks! Make sure you have high gfx settings and the surface your on will make a big difference.

@coreyh0000 , Prolly will run with other EFX mods.I have used it with EFX mods but cant remember which one.

Hey i love this mod! though it seems in my game i get way less dust than shown in the screenshots, is there a way to edit something to increase the amount of dust displayed? would be sick!

I'd assume this doesn't work with blastcore because blastcore is so extensive and there is no compatibility listed in the description

The addon is missing the server key.

first of all... i would like to say thank you for the free mod and the hard work put into this. this mod is great and definitely increases my immersion in arma. i host a dedicated server and with the new update i am getting a signature mismatch. after looking at the new updated file it appears that i do not have a bikey to upload into the keys folder on my server. is that the issue or am i missing something? i am not sure how to sign the mod and make a bikey but i will figure it out if it is necessary.

This should work with 99% of addons.Unless the addon defines its own dust efx ,which most dont, this mod will work.:)

Fixed meta.cpp file.was causing issues with server use i believe.further updates to Particles may come soon.

is it possible to make the effect on a smaller scale for the pawnhee and other lighter helis?

We resign to use this mod waited too long for simple change to be done. We plan to release our own version of the same stuff.

It is possible i think and it may already exist.Some terrains may already have this feature.A little research thru Google might turn something up.

I wanted to ask is it possible to change the "dust" to look like "snow" on maps like Winter Chernarus? So it blows up snow instead? Maybe a simple replace the dust particles with the snow "rain" particles? Same for all dust type mods.

You need to fix, that there is the brownout effect on asphalt, helipads roofs etc.
