Come on, game is old and dirt cheap, just put it into your wishlist and buy it on the next sale, which is around the corner. And that's the way it is, lots of custom content for GMod needs CS:S

Try validating the cache of CS:S through Steam, maybe something got lost in game's content, because that is not normal.
