Raptors will have more health but will be slower actually.
I did 20 framerate animations but they were meant to be played at 15.

The main thing I'm adding is a lot more animations from the game, so more attack animations + situational flinching.

now here are some suggestions i would recommend. first, make the raptors, dilophosaurus, parasurolophus, and monolophosaurus faster. also, make the raptors more tanky, half life weapons have no problem killing them in 5 seconds. finally, add a few more weapons and then it will be perfect.

at first i was going to suggest an update because the t. rex, scarface, and giga were not attacking, but if it is getting an update, heck yeah because this is probably my favorite dinosaur mod for vj base. if you update the mod, this will be on of the best dino mods ever.

It's because of the VJ Base revamp. I really hope this mod is updated, this and the other dinosaur packs the author has made are all great.

Some dinosaurs will even do an entirely incorrect animation, such as roaring, when they're supposed to attack.

for some reason this addon "broke". All NPCs now have only one hit animation, and the "shooting" NPCs (poison raptor and flying beetle) now just play the animation, (without a projectile)

I checked and other addons do not conflict

Its most likely based on inostrancevia (gorgonopsid) which was an early ancestor of mammals that would eventually evolve into cats but the cat lizard has the cat ears instead of the cat whiskers inostrancevia has. Besides almost all turok creatures are monsterified versions of dinosaurs and the cat lizard is most likely a monsterified inostrancevia.

We don't have a gorgonopsid (cat lizard) model in gmod and at the very least it would be cool to have a ragdoll of it, but im fine with no npc.

In the game, its AI relies on setpieces including specific trees it can climb, and its attack animations are just it running into the player. It has no slash or bite animations it just runs into you and you get knocked over with a blurry screen.
There is no way to fully implement it without designing specific (annoying) stun mechanics specifically for it and make dedicated maps for the tree climbing ability, outside of which it's main gimmick is completely useless.

It's also the only fictional ""animal"" in the game and it's literally just a stupid looking quadruped raptor with tiny little cat ears and a dog nose. All this while having a unique animation set meanwhile the only non-background herbivore in the game is a parasaurolophus that mostly just reuses dilophosaurus animations.
It sucks, is ugly, and they should have spent those resources on something like a triceratops or stegosaurus instead.

This in GMod is unfathomably better than the 2008 game because you can actually play as Turok (Tal'Set). It would be cool if someone made a playermodel of Tommy from Prey along with Nightwolf from MK9. That, or an HD Ta'Set/Joshua

Speaking of Prey, Prey 2006 was a much better modern Turok game and was practically a spiritual successor in comparison.

If you plan to do an update or a big one To this Great Mod!¡ I recommend you think about adding the main weapons like the BlackFly Sticky Bomb gun, the hog 9mm handgun, the enforced shotgun, the L66 Pulse Rifle or between Others. That said, I wouldn't recommend you to make the double weapons. This message is to give you an idea if you plan to make this mod much bigger, but it's still a great mod and very good to make.Legendary battles against dinosaurs xd.
