I love this mod, and I am begging: is there any ways to listen to your osts other than booting up the game? I want to be able to hear them whenever I can.

chile needs a nerf this civ is a but ton of good bonuses for example i remember a chile leader who provided an extra charge to great scientists engineers and finally great merchants its an insane ability since you can stack triple the powerful engineers

@Dominator Rex he's to busy with his BFF Thatcher
Shadeshinobi1 2. apr. 2021 kl. 16:40
Was playing a game as Ramon Freire with some other JFD civs installed and all was going well until I placed the UI, which glitched out my trade route capacity to 525 empty routes. Does anyone know what might have caused this or is the LA bugged?
DominatorRex 14. mar. 2021 kl. 6:32
I have one important question... Is there Augusto Pinochet?
Jables 23. feb. 2021 kl. 9:38
falta pinochet en este mod

Hello, I am Chilean, I would like to be able to translate this mod into Spanish, my English is very normal and I want to collaborate with something, could it be possible?
Laris 7. aug. 2020 kl. 14:12
Chile's culture bombs last forever. Even when the civilization is completely defeated, their borders still remain as uncontrollable territory.
JFD  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2020 kl. 11:56
Aye, can confirm the issue. Will have to look a bit more into it when I have some more time as it doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the mod per se but might be a UI quirk in the game.
Lord Gek 28. juli 2020 kl. 21:05
What adds insult to injury is that I get this annoying issue of almost all minerals requiring Gunpowder to access even if I, nor any of my opponents, are playing Chile. Just by INCLUDING the Chile Civ mod as part of my "Additional Content", I get cursed with this weirdness.
Lord Gek 28. juli 2020 kl. 15:18
@春 You already confirmed a long mystery I'd been trying to track down! I was playing some 350 mod game and noticed this and only through a long process of elimination tied it to 1 of JFD's Civs/Leaders, and just now traced it to the Chilean leaders.
CheshireDog 1. juli 2020 kl. 23:45
There was a bit of a problem with the description of the technical requirements of mineral resources when I used the Chilean mod. For example, When you haven't unlocked the technology yet, Mercury on the map will show the requiring for "Gunpowder" technology,Jade, copper and other mineral resources are the same.

Amazing. Don't forget Italy has the same problem with the civilopedia!
JFD  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2020 kl. 14:55
And fixed. Seems the civilopedia was too long :p
JFD  [ophavsmand] 1. juli 2020 kl. 14:14
Thanks for letting me know. I've fixed the improvement model issue but scratching my head at the CTD in the pedia - though can definitely confirm it.
La Creatura 1. juli 2020 kl. 3:42
Sorry to pile on the problems, but the salitreras model doesn't seem to appear. Tested with no mods enabled except chile and all its leaders
JFD  [ophavsmand] 30. juni 2020 kl. 20:41
I'll take a look
Cuso 30. juni 2020 kl. 18:59
It's happening with Italy too but not your other civs. I thought the problem was that you have stablished mod support in the text files for both civs that references Rule With Faith and not on the others, and that crashed them, but I removed the references and it didn't fixed them.
Cuso 30. juni 2020 kl. 17:37
I have also just noticed that when looking at chile civilopedia page, the game crashes. The same thing happens with CIVITAS William, there must be something wrong with the Chile_GameText file
Cuso 30. juni 2020 kl. 0:48
Thanks for the update! You should check the culture art for this civ, it has Mestizo for buildings when it should be Brazil I think, and the unit culture is not defined. Besides that, it works amazing!
IdiotGamer 29. juni 2020 kl. 18:43
Thanks a lot for the update!

TheCzolgosz 15. jan. 2019 kl. 17:08
As others have said, the culture bomb is definitely too strong. It doesn't have the game's normal limitations pretty much breaks the game.
Mecha Sandvich 23. nov. 2018 kl. 1:26
we need free helicopter rides to be given out with this civ
Digihuman 21. nov. 2018 kl. 6:33
Can confirm Charioteer's bug. The fact that this civ ignores the Culture Bomb limitations also makes it overpowered, as a result.
Charioteer 10. nov. 2018 kl. 12:05
I've run into a couple of bugs.
1. The culture bombing effect is able to capture other players' districts. The game crashes after trying to end turn.
2. The loyalty bonus for combat victories only boosts the capital instead of all cities. You can see the boost applying multiple times to the capital.
Wormbrew 1. nov. 2018 kl. 7:21
It saddens my heart to see that Chile is known only by the dictatorship it was under during the 70s and 80s, it makes me quite happy to see that Pinochet is not a leader that you can choose in this mod :)
Mushroomancer 31. okt. 2018 kl. 15:35
I culture bombed too close to another city and it glitched. The city was unable to be captured, counted toward a Liberation War against me despite not being my city, and was inside my borders as someone else's city. It also had no defenses and I could easily walk through the city as if it was just another tile. Enemy civ could still produce units with it as well.
Manuk, Psychonaut 16. okt. 2018 kl. 15:52
@JFD I have a BA in History, been playing CIV since 1997 and I was partially responsible for contacting Firaxis to add the Mapuche on Civ VI. I'd LOVE to help you out creating a new leader; just consider Pedro Aguirre Cerda barely ruled Chile for less than 3 years. Is there any way we can chat over Google Hangout one of these days? I'd love to help like I said.
Sapient_Pest 15. okt. 2018 kl. 11:08
Is anyone else finding they're not being limited to one Salitrera per city? Or is something else I'm running breaking it on my end?
JFD  [ophavsmand] 10. okt. 2018 kl. 14:14
The adjacency bonus is for the Mines and Quarries, not the Salitrera
tristan.louis.haller 10. okt. 2018 kl. 9:37
Salitrera's don't seem to be getting the adjacency bonus from Mines and Quarries for me.
Conan_Chile 8. okt. 2018 kl. 11:05
"Salvador Allende" is the historical leader for any civilization of modern "Chile", dont put him keep only in conservative minds!! Or if u prefer some more older leader Carrera o Rodriguez.

And all options always with magistral music of Voctor Jara, "Charagua" and any others that u want from him and "New Chant".
The real Caligula 7. okt. 2018 kl. 8:08
My heart is too red to accept any leader but Allende for Chile ):
Rootimus 7. okt. 2018 kl. 4:28
I'm still having some issues with the culture bombs - specifically, mods that affect tile yields are not applying their effects to bombed tiles.

Examples: wood tiles that are supposed to get faith from Mahabodhi Temple (Wondrous Wonders) and oasis tiles that are supposed to be getting extra yields from one of the pantheons from Ancient Egyptian Pantheons.

Anyone know how I can fix this?
GuardiaN 5. okt. 2018 kl. 12:50
Nobody said he was a successful leader, but he was a historical political figure and it makes sense to play with him once civilization is Chile.:csgoct:
JFD  [ophavsmand] 5. okt. 2018 kl. 8:43
All fixed now
