I really hope mod support gets sorted out soon.
After the recent update, most of the mods I use are now broken. My server crashes during startup or when loading assets, and it's clearly related to mods not being updated for the latest version. I've tested with a clean setup, and multiple mods are affected.

If any mod authors see this—thank you for everything you’ve created. I understand this situation isn’t your fault, and that you're likely waiting on DevKit updates or dealing with unexpected issues.

If possible, I hope you’ll consider at least recooking or republishing the mod, even with no new changes, just so it can stay usable for the community moving forward. Many of us still rely on your work and would love to continue using it.

Nevermind, it is compatible with it. Its just that they dont eat veggie bags like horses do. They eat berry bags instead.

This doesnt seem to be compatible with immersive taming as the horses wont eat veggie bait. Can you add a tweak to let them eat veggie bait?

They did when I posted them 4 years ago and I haven't changed or touched it since. Good luck.

no i dont think so, unless that helps, they arent set to be super rare.

Do i have to kill of every wild dino to get them to start spawning?

They are set to spawn where ever normal horse spawn. As long as you can find normal horses, they will show up.

I think the lightning one is acidentally overpowered to taming, cause i knockout somthing and get a insta tame, Even tho i didnt put anything in it. im not sure if its just my settings but thats weird

Definitely. Perhaps in the future, if I learn how to do that, I will. Still a quality mod, nonetheless.

i can understand that too... l would suggest that you can reduce the spawn rate for them on your own server. I didnt do anything to restrict that. ... im glad you at least like them.

Yeah, that kinda kills the appeal of the mod to me. Seeing them often destroys the wow-factor.

Yes, it's not very difficult to find one of the elemental unicorns as i set them to spawn where ever horses normally spawn. I personally would always test on Rag in the Scotland area. I could usually could on one spawning there without too much time.

I'm interested in this mod, but I want finding one of these to be a extremely rare event. From what I've been reading, they are actually quite common.

Yes, it will work on any of the maps that use the default spawning system.

Loving the mod.
Just wanted to let you know though, that:

The Ice Unicorn Feces has the description of the Fire Unicorn Feces.
(Says Fire Unicorn in description, and mentions that it will warm you up if you eat one.)

On the Valguero map, I wasn't able to see any wild ones spawning, but I was able to admin-spawn one in just fine.

This mod is outdated, Genesis broke it, or one of my 6 other dino mods are conflicting. It increased the spawn rate for regular horses drastically but i can't find any of the Unicorns and I've been searching all day... Will come back when I see that it's updated. ^_^

It does work on Valguero. I've made a trip to Valguero on my Single Player mode from Ragnarok (keeping the same mods active), and I definitely did see the elemental Unicorns out and about.

I remember I was the one that made a comment about "Blessing of Unicorns Lite" (or something to that effect). One thing I wanted to say is that the elemental Unicorns looked much better aesthetically in contrast to the vanilla Equus as you removed the excess shag on the Unicorns. I would ask if you could preserve the reduced shag of your Unicorns versus the vanilla Equus for your proposed "Blessing of Unicorns Lite." Personally, I prefer them not as shaggy as the vanilla Equus. (Ok, I'm just repeating myself, lol).

there is multiple per map. When i was testing on Rag, i'd see 3-4 of each flavor after the server settled.

are these unicorns working like the vanilla unicorn ? only one on each map ? or there will be multiple elemental unicorns roamming around ?

I havent tested them, but i expect that it does. It spawns in the typical biomes that Wildcard uses. As long as those maps use them as well, it will work.

Does this Mod work on Iso or Vallhalla Map?

I've tried all the spawn codes on the isle map. Nothing is popping up =( I really wanna spawn in a unicorn

Yeah, i expect it will work fine. I havent tested every variation out there, but I havent seen any problems with any of the ones i've looked at so far.

Will this work alongside other Equus-based mods? Like the rainbow unicorn mod?

Update: the mod does work on the new maps as is. I just ran a server here locally for a few days and then used a Tek Transmitter to do a Dino Scan and all 4 dinos were spawned on the server.

if i had all the files ready i would do it immediately, i just need to do some detective work to make sure i dont break something when i'm trying to update it. maybe this weekend?

i've even made a new version of the fire unicorn that's not see thru which makes it easier on lower power machines. several folks have asked for that i just need to publish it too.

can you pleass update this to work better on Valguero I've seen a few spawn in the Redwoods on my server as well as an area near the snow biome

unless they have changed how it works you wont find them on any map beyond the ones they were out when i made the unicorns. The issue is the code needs me to tell it where to spawn per map. since those maps didnt exist, they cant have the settings. They should be transferable, so I would suggest picking one up and giving that a shot.

Is this compatible with Valguero? Haven't found any on here or back on our Extinction map but not sure if it's just bad luck on our part
