indeed, we plan to have at least 16 fully fleshed out factions in the final release, along with Lore for all the factions, and it'll be using the latest features added thanks to devguy.
anyways, regarding the megamod as a whole, you can look forward to the initial Indev release around the end of january at the absolute latest. we'll make a Community post about it between now and then more likely than not, so we'll give info about it then.
that's fair, but just know that it's by far the most active platform for the community.
Floof, the modder you're referring to, was offerred to join, but due to him getting along with almost nobody else on the team, he sadly isn't a part of it. if you wish to know more about it, it would be easier to explain in the discord server, linked above. or, if you don't wanna join, you can message me directly (Margakis #4436) and i'll tell ya there.
my next project is a Massive collaboration with other talented modders, there will be an Indev release fairly soon, so look forward to that.
i'm always glad to welcome new modders, feel free to ask for help if you need it.
If ya want missiles, the closest you'll get are the Bombadier Drones, which are basically missile drones.

on another note, you should totally join the discord server listed above, it's the easiest way to get in direct contact with me an many other active modders.
i understand, it's not too bad of an idea. as for the decoy drones, i'd rather not destroy my own framerate anymore than this mod does already, and besides, swarmer drones fill that role pretty nicely already
