@Miao, That is a known bug that affects all of the skin peeler machines. Although I see this conversation occurred 3 years ago so you are probably well aware of this fact. Also, @Lord Lurk I have an issue where my peeler machines aren't producing human skins. Instead the bar fills up and nothing is produced.

Thanks for the response. The only way I found to get around this without an import is dismantle it completely, save, load, then the body that was "stuck" / "floating" will drop and can be picked up normally again. I found that it only happened to me was when everything was at -100.

The other mod warned subscribers of this, too saying it's game specific.

@Miao - I haven't had any reports of this happening before, so it might just be you caught an unlucky bug. I'll poke around and see if I can figure out anything, but I think you might be better off just importing if it's still giving you problems.

Just curious, when I put a body in there and let it be extracted 100% meaning all limbs are gone, and everything is at -100, the body gets stuck and I can't take it out the machine. Any way to get around it or do I just take it out a bit earlier?

@Kye - This would be awesome to have, but sadly there's no system in Kenshi to achieve this, as far as I am aware.

It would be good if you could put a moral penalty for people fighting against skeletons wearing skin suits because it is kind of like the flayed ones from Dawn of war robots who drape the bloody skin of their victims over themselves stinking of rotting carcass and blood as they slowly lumber towards you and tear off your skin.

My mod changes the default use of the peeler machine, so even though it might of been added, the purpose of the mod still changes what it does.

So put 2 people into the peeler without removing either and then i'll get 1 skin? From right clicking the peeler or? Can you put how to do it in the description please? Sorry to be a bother

Skin Suit now has some stealth and assasination properties, while hindering dodging.

I'ved toyed with the idea. I'll take another look at it and see if I can find a way that feels balanced to the game for me.

@InsideOutlander - It seems I was a bit optimistic about being able to set it as a disguise. The game handles that by applying it to the faction of NPC an item was taken from. After looking around in the editor I have not found a way to easily make it one for the Holy Nation because I believe its a core mechanic not accessible with the editor.

Since the Holy Nation already has some lore books that say that skeletons can disguise themselves or posess humans... setting it as a disguise for the Holy Nation seems... appropriate.

BWWWWHAAAAAAAAAT?! You can put on a skin suit to disguise yourself as a human when you're a skeleton? This game is so morbid but it's awesome.

@LumberSexual - I can give it a disguise, but it has to be of a specific faction, not a race sadly. That and I believe the disguise system is still broken? I havn't tried to use it in years, so I have no idea honestly if it works or not.

maybe have it set as a disgise to look like the race/specie of choice.
like you can choose to use a greenlander skin and the HN won't racially profile you
