An update. I did some tinkering , and was able to get your mod to work for special edition!

It's been a long time since I last posted on here. I play SE now , and with the alpha build of SKSE for SE availible , I was wondering if you would ever remake this mod for SE? I know you lost your files when your harddrive fried , but couldn't you start off by working on the file off the workshop or the nexus? I miss this mod so much.

so can you control him like a horse or does he fly in a circle like the normal ones?

I wanted to edit out the dragon's ability to mass summon other dragons because it crashes my game way to much so I opened up the creation kit and pulled up the mod file but I can't find Shiriru's id in the creation kit. What is its name?

you can make ur own packages but it seems to not work properly honestly i didnt mess around too much with it i just took the one bethesda made and changed them in my final fantasy mod you can see ho i made Scenes with packages that can repeat i believe i made a custom package there too maybe look into that mod other than that i can only advise you to google ^^

@DooM, Can these AI Packages be called/used/stuck to other creatures besides dragons? Also, do you know of any tutorials I can look at to learn how to understand AI Packages?

i mean if you want to change it beyond what i did

its all done in ai packages if you want to change the movement you need to use skse

@DooM, ah, so that's how it works (was looking over the mod in the creation kit and had a hard time figureing it out). What I'd really like to know though is how dragon flight works, in terms of packages, scripting, AI, animaitons, and so on. In short; I know that dragons are scripted to fly, now I'd like to know how the scripts and packages work.

pfc the invisible person needs to be removed after he was created with an comand in the script at the end

dragon flight is automatic
all you can do is set the waypoint in the ai packages all i did was creating a invisible person at the place where fireball hitsand gave him a script that moved the waypoint to the location he was created for the way point i took a X marker

These dragon mods are superb. I use the Dragon Wayfinder mod quite a lot. I have a question though; how did you learn about how dragon flight works in Skyrim? I'd kind of like to make a mod similar to this myself, but don't know where to start, and no one online seems to want to tell me what they did to learn how dragon flight works in Skyrim.

That Summon dragon ability needs a cooldown. Shiriru uses it way to much

Just a tip: don't start a new game with this mod activated. Shiriru will come right before Alduin and annoy you throughout the whole tutorial. Right now I'm in the keep and he followed me and is glitching out in the floor. I'm gonna try and fix his glitching with size commands, but I'm just saying this for future notice and maybe a bug fix.

if you had read the description or watched the video you would have seen bevore that you can controll him only indirect

thats the way a dragon flys you can change the position of cirly with my mod not the way he flys

Most of the time he flys around in circles or just flys straight.

Well, the problem is I cant use the Thanatos skin mod (Odahviing retexture) while I'm using the Shiruru mod. But I was wondering If you would be able to ask permission from the author of that mod to let you add their Thanatos skin to the Shiruru's skins. I think that would be cool if they said it was ok and you could do that. :)

my mod replaces nothing dont know about this issue i could look a bit but im not sure if i can solve ur problem

I switched the load order to your mod first and Shiruru shows again but it overrides the other mod. So for now I'll leave the other mod off. Hmm, you think you could make an extra skin out of that one too?

A very fun mod to have, thank you! I also found an incompatibily with another mod. Shiruru turns invisible when not wearing a skin.
