for some reason, when i ADS with the aimpoint 1x it seems like my dot is higher than where the bullets are impacting.. i don't have this problem with any other weapon and i even tried it out with using the vanilla sight

You can use Mechanical Blender or autocad/sketchup addons for blender. But I believe that exist other ways to make this without blender, but I don't know.

Is it possible to make homemade models in the form of stl's into a program and modify them for the game? I do a lot of work with these types of programs, but mine aare geared towards product creation. I was wanting to try my hand at these mods.

I did it the easy way, but that damn front sight was really missing in the appearance of the gun, it was very strange.

No, not this time. What you said was what I did in the two previous versions. In this version, as you can see in the videos and the image, the front sight is there even with the optics. I did that animation scheme, same as the my MP5 mod (as I said in the description ¬ ¬), where when activating the delta anim of the sights, the front sight descends.

easy, the game removes the carry handle when you put on any sort of optic, so try to use that to your advantage, by joining the front sight together with the carry handle you can achieve that invisible front sight effect because now the game removes the front sight as well as the carry handle.

Looks sweet - my only issue is that the eotech and aimpoint optics shoot too high, but 2x and higher works just fine.
