Good to hear! I haven’t had the chance to go through all the game code changes since I’ve been preoccupied with other things. I also tend to wait until it’s out of an unstable build before diving in, since that way, I know there won’t be any drastic changes when it moves to a stable build.

I just wanna say that I'm still using this mod for B42, and though some things might not have the reduced weight, it still works like I want. Makes the haul of logs, planks, and foraged branches a better experience.

Oh and to the idiot that kept spamming comments on here I never read them I just deleted them. Grow up and move on. (Some dude was pissy I would not make a custom fix for another mod, claimed this one does not work and linked to other similar mods.)

Yeah you should be able to add/remove it to a save or server mid game with no issues.

the carry log weight was 9 on my end but i found out that a mod called Skizot's Carryable Everything was messing it up and it fixed it for me

Well if you have it enabled and it's not working and you've tried other mods that also change weight of things but they don't work you could try reinstalling the game and cleared the old data from your %UserProfile%\Zomboid to see if maybe some old file/mod is being picky.

The log weighs the same as in vanilla. Everything else works well. I've tried other mods that cut the weight of the log, they don't work either. Which is surprising, because I don’t have any other mods, there can be no conflicts

Works on my single player and a dedicated server just fine. Are you sure you have it enabled in your mod menu? at the main menu click mods and make sure you have it enabled. If it is enabled then you may have another mod that's conflicting with it.

@nvus just tested a fresh game and it still works as intended on everything. My guess is that you have another mod that's conflicting with it and overriding the weight values to default.

doesn't seem to work for logs or stacked logs. Planks and branches are reduced though

Still works even though it's not 'updated' to the current build. Nothing in the updated versions has changed anything on how it works.

Mod has been updated (as it says on the notes as well but posting a message here as most look here first) Mod now reduces the weight of tree branches from 1.0 to .5 Have fun foragers.

Hey there! Tried this mod on my multiplayer server, and while it did half the wood weight, it also halved my character's carry weight from 16 to 8.

As I have gotten back into playing PZ again I looked and saw very few people are playing the 'stable' version. Hardly any multiplayer servers running anymore. That in mind I finally got around to updating this mod for build 41. See the description for the new info.

@MasterHation As you've clearly not read the description, let me direct your attention to the bold and underlined section....

"This mod will not work with build 41 of the IWBUMS branch. The mod will be updated when build 41 goes live and off the beta branch. (If I updated this mod to the b41 branch it would break it on the many servers that run it so I won't do that until b41 is the current/default version)"

lol yeah I mean I'd have updated this ages ago for build 41 but if I did it would break the mod on all the multiplayer servers and when I looked it was on a lot of them so I'd rather not and update it once the update drops... maybe next year? haha.

@STUCKOV as it says on the top this mod is currently only updated to work on the stable branch not the IWBUMS (build 41) branch. Once build 41 is the normal stable release the mod will be updated for that.

Well it work with build 41. BUT it make one very serius bag. Is literly remove jeans scraps. When you tear up jeans or demi on lite peaces, you dont get any meterial. So its make tailoring usles. Plz fix it.

Yeah it won't work with build 41 as it has a different set of files. I'll toss a note on the top about this but as in the comments here this mod is not updated to work on the IWBUMS branch. The mod will be updated to build 41 when it's the normal stable (default) release version.

The mod pevents certain weapons, (hunting knife, golf club, probably others) from being equipped on your character's back/belt in build 41.
