Mission updated: it no longer bugs after taking the 1st objective.

Stealth did actually work (unlike in Bis missions, where that never does...) anywho: I didn't get any mission marker after the mortar hit; after driving around for a while I found AAF at Maxwell

I don't run any mods which change AI behaviour of settings. After much trial an error, I was able to stealth past the 2 man patrol to plant charges but it was very difficult. Do you happen to play in 3rd person? I stick to 1st person which makes avoiding the 2 man patrol very difficult since, unlike 3rd person, you can't keep tabs on the 2 man patrol without exposing your head to some degree.

Normally, if you stay stealth, you can sneak in without being detected and set the charges while undetected.
Patience is key ;)
Also, you can find an AT in the Ifrit - but it's in the camp too.
Your AI mates won't move nor engage before the AA is destroyed so they won't have you detected.

Last thing: playing with mods or not?
Cause it can break the mission if you do.

Was it your intention that the AA be active during the mission? Problem is that the AI gunner in the Tigris instantly knows your location as soon as you fire a shot. Without AT, the only way to complete this mission is to "cheese" it. Granted, I'm a bit of a masochist since I like to play ArmA with my AI settings set to 0.9 skill and 0.7 precision, but even this mission is needlessly difficult.

First thing first:
Are you running any mod?
Will check out the problems you mentionned but it seems weird.

needs some serious improvement. your team holes up in the building the whole time, I keep getting wiped out by the AA gun, and most importantly: you've set ALL the enemies to 100% skill. What would compell you to do this? they spot you before you even peek, and then you get about 20 35mm rounds up your ass.
