The legendary lore boys integrated this mod into theirs, so yes, I do hope it's pretty similar.
HughJanus69 20. sep. 2020 kl. 18:03
isn't this very similar to the "legendary lore" mod that does the same thing but with lots of things such as places or events as well as unit lore?
captainducko 15. aug. 2020 kl. 19:55
a beaut

You know I've gotta say.. I've used this mod for ever it seems... Its such an awesome mod. I wish CA didn't cut corners and also realize that people love lore and flavor and cool cutscenes and whatnot INGAME. While I love when modders give us quality content like this mod it also makes me kinda sick knowing CA used to add features like this by default 20 years ago.

@Drunk Flamingo

Thanks good sir!

This mod gives you recruitment events, which pop up the first time you recruit a unit and give some extra background and lore on the unit, similar to how we used to get in Shogun 2.

What does the mod do exactly/
Forlorn 29. juni 2020 kl. 11:00
Noticed something going on, thanks for update Dragon! Legendary Lore mod is nice!!
Dragon32 23. maj 2020 kl. 13:10
@CaptainZ
This mod's contents have been merged into Legendary Lord Lore, use that mod instead.
FeralZ 23. maj 2020 kl. 9:50
pls update
Dragon32 12. feb. 2020 kl. 15:05
Hello.
I've noticed a couple of typos in this mod whilst playing as Thorgrim in a Mortal Empires campaign:

Grudge Thrower
"... and therefore spend as great deal of time..."
-->
"... and therefore spend a great deal of time..."

Quarrellers
This seems to have an extraneous speech mark ( " ) after the phrase elbow grease and another right at the end ("...cost of black powder.")

Thanks for the mod! I'm someone who knows next to nothing about WH lore so looking forward to learning about it through this mod.

N00b. Who even makes typos anymore?
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 20. nov. 2019 kl. 10:49
Updated to fix some typos and text errors.
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 5. nov. 2019 kl. 7:30
The update requires written content I simply have no time nor inclination to produce on my own.

If someone writes or finds recruitment events for the new units I'll gladly implement them into the mod, I just could not justify writing all of that over other working on other mods.
xkenshinx 2. nov. 2019 kl. 17:18
update please!!
Dormegol 7. okt. 2019 kl. 2:10
Will you consider making an update?!?!:steamhappy:
Sic Semper Cogitarius 22. sep. 2019 kl. 11:30
Got an update in the works for the new pack?
Laughing Forest 26. aug. 2019 kl. 19:14
Will do
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 26. aug. 2019 kl. 19:11
If you send me an excel sheet with unit key (internal name, main units table in Cataph's mod), Unit name, and your description on each line that's all I need.
Laughing Forest 26. aug. 2019 kl. 17:17
Project accepted.
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 26. aug. 2019 kl. 16:40
If someone wrote them I'd be happy to add them, the script is easily extensible
Laughing Forest 26. aug. 2019 kl. 16:35
Would you consider adding for TEB ?
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 4. mar. 2019 kl. 13:18
Yes
flupo42 4. mar. 2019 kl. 12:33
will this still trigger on next recruitment if added mid-campaign when I already have all units?
PrussianWarfare  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2018 kl. 12:48
@Parse Good news, there's recruitment events for the Vampire Coast now :BallandChain:
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 10. nov. 2018 kl. 17:12
Oh, yeah that will take a while, have to find some time to write the ones that don't exist. Usually caligula grabs them from existing fluff but many of the units aren't in any army books.
Edward 9. nov. 2018 kl. 12:14
@Drunk Flamingo, thank you for the amazingly speedy update!
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 8. nov. 2018 kl. 16:59
It is
King Gwynsen 13. sep. 2018 kl. 1:47
So i had to delete "workshop" or to search your mod of possibly two copies and then delete it ?
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2018 kl. 16:50
Caligula is correct, except for a step 2.5: Go to steam/steamapps/workshop then delete the folder and repeat step 1.
Caligula  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2018 kl. 16:07
1 - Go to Steam - Library and right click on Total War Warhammer 2. Click Properties - Local Files - Verify Integrity of Game Files. If that doesn't work, then

2 - Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Warhammer II\data (I don't know whether that is 100% the correct address), and make sure there aren't two versions of the mod there OR a scripts folder. If there are, delete them. If THAT doesn't work, then

3 - Search C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming in your directory bar and maybe delete stuff from C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer2. Probably wait for Drunk to give you some proper advice before you do this third step though.
King Gwynsen 12. sep. 2018 kl. 16:03
How can i give you the possibility to do that ?
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2018 kl. 15:01
I would clear your data folder or your workshop folders then verify. The only thing that could possible cause a crash is having two copies of the mod both installed at the same time.
King Gwynsen 12. sep. 2018 kl. 14:50
I did it two times and it doesn't work at all.. Really weird.
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2018 kl. 10:05
No mods would ever be incompatible. It is a pure script.

Verify your game files and redownload the mod.
King Gwynsen 12. sep. 2018 kl. 8:39
I dont know why but it crash when i launch the game, what type of mods it could be incompatible ?
Caligula  [ophavsmand] 9. sep. 2018 kl. 14:38
Haha nice. I've been using it since 2013-ish, I got sent the picture by a friend on PS3
yanny 9. sep. 2018 kl. 9:19
Just noticed somehow me and Caligula have the same pfp
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 5. aug. 2018 kl. 18:11
Yes. The events will trigger the first time the unit is recruited per save. If you didn't have the mod installed, it won't count and you will see all the events.

Also fully save removable.
Sherb13 5. aug. 2018 kl. 18:06
Is this mod save game compatible?
spellsnare 5. aug. 2018 kl. 14:59
shame cali quit modding he was a really good modder

but otherwise you work don't stop to suprise me drunkflamingo and good mods to hope you never stop modding my good men
Belisarius 5. aug. 2018 kl. 14:15
Oh hello there
Laughing Forest 3. aug. 2018 kl. 9:48
Thanks :D
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 3. aug. 2018 kl. 9:48
There will not be events for units that are not in vanilla, for obvious reasons. But yes. When I say literally any mod I mean literally any mod.
Laughing Forest 3. aug. 2018 kl. 9:45
So literally any mod...means compatible with Cataph's?
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 3. aug. 2018 kl. 6:35
Quick Update:

The event pictures should now be accurate to the race recruiting the units!
DrunkFlamingo  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. 2018 kl. 17:52
Yes
klaysdnd 1. aug. 2018 kl. 17:51
up date?
Kalderon 1. aug. 2018 kl. 15:32
Again, you're proving you're indispinseable in the TWWH moding community, alongside Celtik, Cataph and Mixu. (list not assuming completeness, just the guys/gals I'm rememberig at the moment).

Best regards
Kalderon
