Suppost to be Bright yellow, Bright blue, and Br. yellowish green. Not New yeller, Deep blue, or Bright green. The blue is easy to mistake and is barely any different, but the yellow and definitely the green are very different colors.

For Sound files they need to be exactly the same length as the original so you'll need an audio/video editor to speed things up/down, and for textures you want to your modification overlaying the original as close as possible. I don't know how to do any other mods, and making levels is their own thing, and there's some way I don't remember that you're supposed to pack the files up for the workshop but I don't *think* you need to download anything for that. You will need VTF edit though, so look up "how to make sprays in TF2" to learn how that works.

Basically what I did to start out was find a few tutorials on it, and then download a mod extractor and the valve file extractor. Since most things have been modded at some point I download a mod for whatever it is I'm modding so all the file heirarchies (aka where the modded files are supposed to go do it works) remain intact, and so I know what I'm looking for. Then I go to the same place in the extracted vanilla (non modded) files in L4D2 and change them to whatever I want!
