Definitely still the best weapon mod for l4d2 on steam. The changes may seem small but are super noticeable and it's also compatible with retextures (I recommend "Clean Scar" most of all). No shitty ridiculous half-assed MW re-rigs, just a true overhaul that still works perfectly as of 2024. Get this, now.

Yes. The version without L4D1 blending is called running the game without any weapon animation mods.

Slight Adjusted M60 (w/ CS:GO Reload anim) It doesn't work with this one. It's too wasteful.

hey, there's annoying little bug with the hunting rifle. whenever I throw and shove a gas can/propane tank/oxygen tank, the camera tilts to the right side a bit before going back to normal.

you can do vpk editing, use gcf-scape (for extract vpk content) and vpk.exe from l4d2 authoring tool (for repacking)

I'm sure I'll come back to this at some point. When? No idea. I'm dug in with studio work at the moment and I'm more interested in practicing animation in my free time than improving on vanilla assets.

Rocky is this still going to be updated because i know most of this stuff is already in the tls update but its still nice for this mod to have some more improvements or things/ideas that wasnt included in the update into this mod. but i just wanted to know you still working on this or not because you did a great job with the weapons in the update and the weapons that you mod as well. so yeah keep up the great work man.

This mod adds the L4D1 pump shotgun as well as making it and the 1911 Pistols only show up in the L4D1 campaigns. Can you guys add compatibility or these features? I'd love to have a faithful L4D1 experience but a more randomized L4D2 experience. This mod also has the missing pistol pickup animations

Sounds reasonable, go for it. The pistols should more or less be the same when I get around to updating this mod.
