One question: where's the passenger car that fits with this? I'm having to use other cars that i don't want to.

Serious problem.
Whatever trains I use with these cars, the depots just STOP loading the cargo on the platform completly.
Is there a scripting issue with these, or are they somehwat different than just normal dedicated boxcars?

@mymeatballhero I haven't really tackled any US repaints as I've been trying to get some more under-represented eras of Canadian railway companies ingame. I think I've got another repaint or two of the baggage car on the way, I might ask around and see if anyone else was going to tackle the US ones.

Also I lied, the mail mod is ready TODAY :)

awesome!! loving these mods! can you make these baggage ars in different skins, like UP, SP daylight and NYC?

Yes @mymeatballhero. The issue is that I forgot I modified some of the carriages in new industry to allows boxcars, trucks, and ships to take mail. Also, a mod where the fertilizer is available in 1850 (Potash was a way of fertilizing crops way before modern chemical fertilizers). I hope to release this in a few days so be on the lookout!

hey there! i have the new industry mod, but it still doesn't allow mail. any tips or settings i have to enable?

Thanks for the tip-off, I'll investigate and see if bumping up the speed on these would be realistic ;)

That one is nice, but only has a 180 km/h limit, whereas the loco has a 200 km/h, would be nice to get a speed match. ;)

Another great addition to the game! Just for future reference, Canadian National's cars were painted in a standard Pullman Green without any striping prior to 1954, as it is the colors that their predecessors used.

Here's an old passenger car at Toronto in 1956 still in Pullman Green with tilted wafer logos:
