Ark has way more colors than whats provided in this mod, please update colors?

My wife and I love this mod, only issue we are having is the cooking pot feature. There's no way to light the fire to make dye. Any ideas?

Good if you take caution but many bad points:

Good point:
Paint the region dino

Badpoint:
-Paint erase in cryopod
-if you set no-color the mod put black intsead, so you can't modify only 1 regions you have to all modifie the dino
-Preview don't work (only show actual color before paint)
-If you quit the paint station whit esc or other way then 2 button (paint and cancel) the hud stay in your screen and you have to quit and come back in the server/game

That all i found for the 3m i try it in my server, i will look for better/best optimized one

Be great if we could freestyle paintthe dinos. Currently impossible to paint Giga's face. Was a going for a braveheart look.

when i am painting a dino and i hit ESC the paint screen stay on and i have to exit the game.

unfortunately the colors are not permanent. if you put the animal in the cryopod and unpack it again then the colors are gone and the old coloring is back .. what a shame ..

I Just updated this Mod. It works great now!

Seemed to be working just fine... then after applying the paint my dino switched to the new color scheme and 1 second later switched to another. As I mounted it, it went back to the new one (the colors I chose) then right back to the old one. Does it over and over as I mount/dismount and never stays on the new scheme.

Really disappointing to see this hasn't been fixed yet. :(

The colors from this are so much better than normal paint... /sigh

It doesnt allow me to paint certain regions with certain colors. It says - #

Mod was last updated 16th of august 2018, so no the leaving the area and returning problem isn't fixed.

Dino and people clip through paint station tested on EXT DLC.

Having same issue as redient medic as well on my server. As well I find it keeps deleting the ini file I have in there for setting it to freemode. It doesnt do this for other mods, just this one. Love the mod though alot of fun.

Love this mod but i have same issue as Resident Medic and Enraged Newb. Also other ppl on my server cant se the paint ive applied only me

Same as Resident Medic happening on my server. Works great, but sometimes when I leave the area & come back all painted dinos are unpainted again until mount/unmounted.

Would love to see an update, this is much better than normal painting!

Hi! Great mod, great idea. I have an issue though. Whenever I paint my dinos, everything is fine, but if I leave the area and come back, the dino is back to its original colors. If I mount it, thecolors I chose come back. Any idea why this happens, and what I can do?

Can you make this craftable in a station? For lack of inventory space. Dropping and juggling inventory is a pain. Thanks

I'm getting a crash everytime i try to ride any creature that i have painted with your mod. any ideas on this?

Alright, the color bug seems to be fixed now! the colors are still there after a server restart. but still, it's just paint. no mutations or babies affected...

well that's a bug. i tried to fix that in the latest 10 updates, but ark doesn't want to play along. i'm pretty positive to fix that soon.

If I change region color and then breed dinos does it act as actual paint or would it be possible to get a mutation?

Recommendation, dubCUT - Make this paint station contingent upon crafting in a Fabricator since it's using everything that's normally used in there. That way, the user (like myself) won't struggle with doing a weight work-around when trying to get 1800 ingots in their inventory to craft this blueprint.

@dubCUT on our server we have the issue that the colors get "reset" if u leave the dino in a specific distance, colors reappear if the dino is rideable/ has a saddle -> get ridden for a second... whats the problem?

after painting dino if mod removed will the paint remove also

Leider konnte ich es weder im Fabrikator noch in der Werkbank herstellen und erst recht nicht im Inventar da die Ressourcen nicht komplett getragen werden können. wenn das behoben wird lade ich mir gerne testhalber neu

@RedEye put everything in a box or dino and than drop the items on the ground where you can reach them. you can pick up everything that way ignoring your weight limit and be able to craft it.

cant actually make paint in structure. Does not work

@dubCUT I did, only tried to do red and black, had like 30 of each in inventory. Chose 1 color and could paint, chose another color and region and couldnt.

I have all the recources to make this paint station but I can't put all the recources in my inventory. Is there maybe some other way I can get the paint station ?

is it possible that the Dinos dont need Dys ! but Tokens ? (yes i know this means you must make own Tokens for this mod..)

no, it's just paint, no genetics involved

that's strange, should work, but you need to put the dye needed in the inventory to be able to paint.

it uses all default dyes of the game and you can choose the region to paint.

Does this include the colours in the game that don't exist as dyes? And does this change the colour regions of the creature or does it automatically fill them in with dyes?

We couldnt seem to be able to do 2 colors at once unless its in free mode
