This sounds amazing dude/dudette!

I got started in Stellaris recently, and saw this mod while browsing around. I couldn't resist, given that I regularly listen to Cryochamber artists. But, on the topic of the comment, I wanted to say I had probably the most memorable event so far thanks to this mod.

I found Sanctuary, which was armed to the teeth with ridiculously powerful defenses, and got an automated greet mentioning how it's been operative for so many millenia, giving hints about how their creators haven't visited in such a long time. Meanwhile, the music changed from the default vanilla tracks to "Aphotic". The music, which was hopeful and uplifting, suddenly became ominous and mysterious dark ambient while it happened. The situation had such a fitting atmosphere, and it got burnt into my memory thanks to it.

To be honest, I think this music fits the game better than the vanilla tracks, and gives it a more fitting mood. Thank you for making this, and hoping to see more of them.

@JustinWPU. It does actually work. Did you read the description? You need to disable the vanilla tracks in the in game music menu by unchecking them if you don't want to hear any vanilla music.

If I did anything to remove or replace the base soundtrack it could make the mod incompatible with lots of other mods that some people might want to use this with.

Saw 'Dark Ambient' and subscribed without looking. That it's Apocryphos is a definite bonus.

Greetings, And thank you for the creation of this awesome mod! I love it and wish to keep playing with it. However I have a request. After the recent Megacorp update I feel as though the game went a poor direction design wise. Portrait sizes are to small and many other things. As such I am playing with version 2.1.3 before the update. If possible can I have access to the mod version that supports V 2.1.3? I have a “Moe Mod Compilation” That it is apart of that I wish to keep playing with. Thank you for continuing to update this mod. Please continue to do so. I can't play Stellaris without it anymore, Apocryphos is perfect for it.

could you update for 2.2.2 please? I don't know why but i've been getting nasty crashes and i've gone through and looked at all my mods and this is the only one plus the other albums that I have that says out of date

@SirHook Yes, they are. I've made several attempts to contact the artists and ask for permission, but never have gotten a response from anyone, or been asked to take down any of my mods. But there is unfortunately always a chance your videos might get flagged if you livestream using my music mods, or almost any of the other music mods available in the workshop.

are theses copyrighted? couse i live steam this game on youtube and twitch.

BTW Goosebumps by Travis Scott fits real well when you play Stellaris

May I recommend creating a mod using, or adding in pieces of Edward Artemiev's Stalker and Solaris scores? His works are the more underrated and unknown sci-fi scores seeing as his music was composed in the USSR but some of his tracks (namely Solaris) would be fitting for both a dark ambient soundtrack and for Stellaris in general in my opinion.
