Exactly. It is still in limited use, but no longer in production.

The T-72 is still used, at least the modernized T-72B variant. Those "T-14 Armata" tanks? Their production is delayed more and more. They are likely to be some fake-ass mockups.

The DShK is a 1938 design. Even the PPSh-41 is a more modern design in comparison.

The T-72 tank and DShK machine gun are modern designs, they're just really outdated and no longer used by the Russian military.

Got it, this is an old addon conflicts with this one, so I unsbcribes the previous one and it works.This is awesome, it makes me feel like playing MW3.THX a lot.

Try resubscribing and checking your addons for conflicts. There's no reason this mod shouldn't for for anyone.

You could delete those unwanted lines, the original gamemodes.txt is still in par01dir.vpk so you only need "mounted_gun_rate_of_fire" in the file, other codes, delete them.

I don't WANT to ever touch the gamemodes.txt. I has all the reserve ammo variables, grenade launcher stats, and other things that would inevitably conflict with some other mods. So, unless I'm making a whole game rebalance, I'm not touching that.

You only need to add "mounted_gun_rate_of_fire" to gamemodes.txt. The MG-42 has the firerated of 1200rpm so the the cvar will be "mounted_gun_rate_of_fire 20"

@Marshmallow, it would look stupid in the heavy mount, so I'd have to try some sandbags or crates. Also, it's rate of fire doesn't quite match, and it's probably bound to gamemodes.txt, unless I mix a sound effect well enough to create an illusion. At any rate, I wouldn't expect such a release from me any time soon.
