Just fine for me. Various different stops may not work.
patrioticparadox 27.8. klo 6.44
It is not broken. It works just fine. It does not need an update.
AzoorFox 26.8. klo 18.23
BROKEN MOD, NEEDS UPDATE!

UPDATE WHEN?????????????
patrioticparadox 10.7. klo 10.02
In YOUR game. You said "IT NEEDS AN UPDATE" as if you had empirical evidence. Which you do not. Because you cannot. Because it does not.

The reason I called it spam is because, just like you're doing again today, you had copy pasted a bunch of spammy, unhelpful, and often erroneous comments across a number of mods. My encouragement to you is to not do that. It's also worth noting that, five months later, you still have not corrected your misleading comment.
Onyx 9.7. klo 18.45
@Patriotparadox Let’s clear this up. I appreciate you’re trying to defend a good mod, but accusing me of spreading "misinformation" was inaccurate and unfair.

When I posted, the mod wasn't behaving as expected in my game. I suspected a potential conflict—a common issue for anyone running a lot of mods. My intention was to flag that, because in the modding world, an old update date can sometimes be the cause. That's why I advised caution.

I never said "it's broken." I said "try it for yourself," because I know everyone's setup is different. Encouraging people to test a mod before committing is responsible advice, not misinformation. We were probably both trying to help, but there’s no need to label helpful caution as "spam."

And to reiterate, it's a wonderful mod, egi! My comments were about ensuring stable gameplay for everyone.

@vila, no
vila浅水荟澄 8.5. klo 1.48
Will this mod increase the public transport usage?
Episteme 14.4. klo 21.34
I agree with patrioticparadox most mods where the comments are spammed with "broken" or "error" are mods Im using in a huge pack just fine. Gotta read the requirements and conflicts in the descriptions closely
patrioticparadox 10.2. klo 8.13
It does NOT need an update. It works fine. The person below is spamming working mods with this misinformation.
Onyx 9.2. klo 23.12
This still works kind of, BUT IT NEEDS AN UPDATE. Try it for yourself and see if it works. FYI Cities Skylines Community, Remember to ALWAYS put in the comments ( help and let people know ) of your favorite mods to say it still works, and make sure to push for updates from the creators! Keep Cities Skylines 1 great!
bunker13 29.11.2024 klo 13.01
It's working well.
Karzham (ACG) 27.11.2024 klo 10.33
outdated (Error)
Isaac Aren 27.11.2024 klo 8.46
Would it be possible to add a feature where this mod deactivates, or increases walking speed, when an evacuation is called? I have a feeling this is messing with the AI of evacuations
eric.r.jankowski 27.11.2024 klo 5.32
This mod is for anyone who is not making NYC if you are, then the base game speed is perfect for you.
beanboy23 17.11.2024 klo 17.55

egi  [tekijä] 16.8.2024 klo 9.36
@fabio.albieri
no it does not, you can enable / disable or install / uninstall it at any time.
fabio.albieri 6.8.2024 klo 6.00
Do this mod affect save games ? Thanks
egi  [tekijä] 11.7.2024 klo 12.24
@Nahkis
the reason they can't clear the crosswalk is because the game assumes them to be fast.
you can't adjust it with the mod, since that would not be "realistic" anymore. I am not going to include it as a feature, sry.

you have 3 options (ordered by difficulty):
1. give them more time to cross with TM:PE timed traffic lights. I have done that for large crossings anyway, because it makes traffic flow more efficient.
2. build your own mod. the code is here https://github.com/DaEgi01/CitiesSkylines-RealisticWalkingSpeed
you have to get a little bit into programming though. its not that hard. hint: just change some values, build it and place the dll in the correct directory.
3. write a mod that adjust all crosswalks globally to give them more time. this is by far the hardest option if you are not a programmer though.

animation has a speed value you can manipulate. I tried to tune it down somewhat so that walking speed matches. with option 2 you can mess around with the number.
Nahkis 6.7.2024 klo 9.57
@egi
Thank you for this amazing mod!

Is there any way to adjust the speed slightly? Or does such thing require complete redo of the animation files? Now it seems like my cims are not fast enough to clear the crosswalks, but without the mod they are running everywhere.....
overprikkeld 27.5.2024 klo 0.59
Such a nice mod.
DocRainbow 20.5.2024 klo 17.22
one of the mods i cant play without anymore, Thank you!
egi  [tekijä] 2.5.2024 klo 12.06
@ColdSpaCe7 if you subbed and enabled the mod, you are using it already.
compare walking speed with and without the mod.
MightyThor769 1.5.2024 klo 7.26
how do i use the mod? i have it active but i don't see how to use it in_game
egi  [tekijä] 8.1.2024 klo 10.38
@t.lazarov TM:PE has this feature. check out MaxWalkingDistance in https://github.com/CitiesSkylinesMods/TMPE/wiki/Global-Configuration
t.lazarov 8.1.2024 klo 2.36
can we make a mod where Cims only will walk up to 1km around span area? this has to prevent Cims walking too far, and avoid public transport. I have too many Cims walking over cross roads. maybe restricting their radious will imprive situation.
egi  [tekijä] 20.12.2023 klo 9.14
@NEC1H you are welcome :)

@ilcicci1983 sry, not going to change my csl1 mods anymore.
ilcicci1983 7.11.2023 klo 0.35
Would it be possible to slow down the animation of citizens on bicycles? They are currently pedaling at an absurd speed for their overall speed
egi  [tekijä] 29.9.2023 klo 10.52
@mitchellgosse91 sry, no slider. The mod started out with one, but I decided to remove it again.
mitchellgosse91 29.9.2023 klo 4.53
Thanks for this! Makes a big visual difference. Is it possible to introduce a slider that allows users to customize walking speeds, or to create one or two options in between these speeds? Looking for a happy medium that allows cims to cross the street in time while still appearing more realistic than the vanilla game.
WHR | TMaekler 22.6.2023 klo 3.58
Does the slowdown have an effect on if CIMs select to walk, drive or use PT?
cahilart 6.6.2023 klo 11.23
thank bro thanks !!!!
invrwilliams 5.6.2023 klo 12.25
Thanks for the update. I have been missing this one.

we need this mod back
bunker13 5.5.2023 klo 9.45
Currently, subscribing to or using this mod causes problems.
Game interrupted or bounced, especially during the game.
Do not use this mode. The creator needs to update this mod quickly.
AkalaMangala 8.4.2023 klo 12.11
Will this mod affect pathing. Given that walking is now a slower path, will CIMs opt for other methods?
egi  [tekijä] 7.4.2023 klo 18.26
@TheTommers Realistic Seagulls Mod anyone ? :D
TheTommers 7.4.2023 klo 13.05
Affects seagulls :steamthumbsup:
(They look weird but kinda realistic considering that some birds use gusty winds to come to a full stop mid air)
Remi 블랙핑크 23.3.2023 klo 14.11
No it is for your Cims in the game
Mohan IRAQI 23.3.2023 klo 12.35

Remi 블랙핑크 11.3.2023 klo 15.35
Really want this, but is it good to use with Real time and Realistic Population?
egi  [tekijä] 16.2.2023 klo 12.53
@Murmelimauri it should.
