In the meantime, regarding the mod: The Chorten is cool and the UA is nice if you play a religion-heavy game. The Himalayan Cavalry is... meh, it's a horse.
But the soundtrack you used for this Civ, is absolutely Celestial. Where can I find the music you used?

9142831614, your history sucks. Wencheng, who became Gampo's 5th concubine (she was at the bottom of the harem, below a shepherd's daughter) was given as tribute by a beaten, terrified Chinese emperor at Gampo's demand after Gampo ripped through Tang's army like paper on his way to Chang'an. You say Wencheng brought Tibet metallurgy. This is ironic considering Du Fu wrote of the vastly superior metalwork of the Tibetan troops, who picked up their metalworking from Persia. There's no record anywhere of Gampo calling Tang "father." Why would he after stomping China into submission?
Tell me; if Tibet "became part of China" under Tang, then why did this "part of China" sack the Chinese capital 3 times under Tang? Not even China is stupid enough to claim Tibet became part of China under Tang. Their claim, made by Hu Jintao, is that Tibet became part of China under Yuan, which is hilarious given that the Yuan Dynasty wasn't even Chinese; it was the name China gives to the MONGOL Empire.

Weirdest civ ability I've seen in a while

First off, thanks for making this mod (and others!). Also, do the mountain yield bonuses conflict with the workable mountains mod?
Ken Wen the Great 14 sep, 2016 @ 22:41
Please leave politics out of the game.

lol, ever since the Tang dynasty when the Tang princess married Songtsan Gampo, Songtsan called Tang empire the father, him as child to them.Tibetan ruler had to gain the acceptance from Ming emperor before they become legitimate, and till the Qing dynasty, governor general from Qing court was sent to Tibet to rule along side with the monk king in Tibet, Qing sent troops help defending Tibet from Nepal invasion. If Persian empire was an empire where lords of the country was weakly aliied to the persian king counts, then the country all pay tribute to China in different dynasty would have been part of China in the western idea of empire, not to mention direct rule from the Qing court , Tibet has became part of China ever since the Tang dynasty.

You do realize that Tibet was never in China... China occupied Tibet in 1951.

Mod looks great, I'm finishing up a game as another Civ with the Tibet AI. I found him to be very greedy, he was constantly begging for money and always wanted deals benefitting him more than me. I don't know whether this is intentional, if so, works great, or if its a bug. I'd still recommend it, the arts great. Understandably, his religion was a pain (as I was playing a religion based civ and couldn't get going), this I can see as a huge advantage for players. I went for a domination victory, and targeted Tibet in the medieval or renaissance era, I didn't spot any Chortens or Himmalayan Cavalry, although I don't know what tech they come about in.
sm0382a 16 jan, 2016 @ 10:21
There's either a small bug or a tooltip error for the Chortens. The text says that you earn 5 points for every mountain worked by the city. However, you actually gain 5 points for every mountain worked within its borders. If you have two cities with overlapping tiles working a mountain wil generate 5 points for each city.

I actually like that functionality though since it gives you some strategy in city placement and selecting which tiles to work. Maybe just update the tooltip?

OK thanks
Pouakai  [skapare] 18 nov, 2015 @ 13:21
Doesn't need it, but it should work with it
Tristan 18 nov, 2015 @ 10:13
This mod need ethnic units to work ?
Dunkleosteus 19 aug, 2015 @ 11:40
maybe the UU should just start with mountaineering. The +1 culture for adjacent mountains seems really weird to me.

All of our civs can be direct downloaded through our topic on CivFanatics here:

Hey, I'd like to first off compliment you on your mods, they're awesome and made very well. However, I'm having a problem downloading mods using the Subscribe button, and I was wondering if you had a Direct Download link. Thanks!
Asclepius 14 maj, 2015 @ 15:36
This civ is really fun! Unfortunately, I can't get it to start in the correct location in the "Yet (not) Another Earth Map Pack" (I use the Large Earth map because the bigger ones take too long to get through the AI's turns.) So instead I am filling up South America and getting ready to sail west and kick China's butte. It will be fun! But... I do really want to get it to start in the right location. Anyone got any ideas?
joerg.r.ungerer 5 feb, 2015 @ 8:29
FYI I cannot adjust where I have my great works for a themeing (sp?) bonus. If you could look into that that would be great. Otherwise: lovely mod, enjoyed it a lot!
JEELEN 31 jan, 2015 @ 11:30
Okidoki. ;)
Pouakai  [skapare] 31 jan, 2015 @ 10:45
Because it never used to, and I forgot to update the description with it when we updated it
JEELEN 31 jan, 2015 @ 10:41
@Pouakai Why not add it to the desciption then?
Pouakai  [skapare] 31 jan, 2015 @ 10:21
It does have YnAEMP support...
JEELEN 30 jan, 2015 @ 12:43
@Pouakai I would subscribe if it had YnAEMP support. Otherwise good job.

The only reason I play this mod is so I can play as China and annex Tibet ;>)
Schwamm Mann 11 dec, 2014 @ 10:53
Could you make a Tibetean Civilization led by Pagan Min?
Killiam420 30 nov, 2014 @ 7:16
extremely disappointed with the latest update before this i could play on gods and kings now i can't
Dusty Unc 28 nov, 2014 @ 10:57
@Pouakai I didn't. I thought I did, but I must have also clicked 'reset tiles'. I apologize for jumping to conclusions, and I love the mod! It's a very enjoyable civ for playing religion/culture centered games.
Pouakai  [skapare] 27 nov, 2014 @ 0:35
Do you have a citizen working the tile?
Dusty Unc 26 nov, 2014 @ 19:49
I settled next to two mountains, and the mountains show +1 Faith, however, I look at the city screen and at the faith total at the top of the screen, and it shows 0 faith. Nothing is using up the faith as I literally just started the game.
regalmanemperor 22 nov, 2014 @ 23:21
great update! Loving the new LH and the chorten abilities.

Pouakai  [skapare] 27 aug, 2014 @ 3:22
Not yet, we're working on an update. Should be done when we can find good music for it
Lord_Daemonar 26 aug, 2014 @ 19:51
Is this TSL compatible? I just played a game where they started in South Africa.

LastSword has a fantastic Scotland mod already released.
theladam 14 jan, 2014 @ 19:13
That's all i could ask for..thanks!
Pouakai  [skapare] 14 jan, 2014 @ 19:12
I wouldn't mind doing Scotland eventually, but we have a lot of civ packs in the work and no real time at the moment. After the work load is a bit less, who knows?
theladam 14 jan, 2014 @ 19:04
Would it be possible to make a request? I was wondering if you would be able to make a Scottish Civilisation. I have ideas that i could share if you would like to do it?! Thanks
Venusaisha 9 jan, 2014 @ 18:07
awesome
Kalis 4 jan, 2014 @ 15:00
great to hear :)
Pouakai  [skapare] 4 jan, 2014 @ 10:33
I'm hoping to have it updated sometime in the coming week, We're just having a few issues finding some fitting music
Kalis 4 jan, 2014 @ 5:13
When will this be updated for BNW?
Philip2580 2 jan, 2014 @ 4:43
I think the unique building needs to be changed as there is a world wonder that does that so it makes that wonder defunct, breaking some gameplay mechanics
buddy holly 27 okt, 2013 @ 4:49
Assuming here that Tibet aren't warmongerers...that would just be wrong.
Dennis[DK] 25 okt, 2013 @ 12:10
Wow, even in game mods, the Maoist are spreading their imperialistic propaganda.

BTW, a great work, uploaders! But, will Tibet not be a bit overrated in culture?
Pavel Pate 25 sep, 2013 @ 12:35
That's some 1984 stuff right there Kim.
