I thought this was also the Comic Con version as well. (wasn't this also Ellis when Valve was showing off beta Swamp Fever at Comic Con?)

Plus, only Nick’s and Coach’s were changed from E3 to retail, and Nick’s view arms only had minor changes while Coach’s view arms had major changes. So Salad likely just matched the changes on Nick’s view arms to the retail model.

In E3 they were all rigged to the L4D1 biped and used the animations that L4D1 shipped with. Retail L4D2 uses a different (and, imo, worse) biped for everything. LT. Rocky’s ports (and my old ports) never changed the biped and just hacked up the define bones. Odds are, either Salad completely redid Coach’s rig using the L4D1 SMD and the bones required for the old animations stayed, or it works just out of pure luck. I was working on a fixed UZI animation port that converted the biped, but the fact I had to fix the animations frame by frane drove me off, plus my 3dsmax license corrupted during a motherboard upgrade, so I can’t return to it even if I wanted to.

Is there a reason your beta Coach mod uses the L4D2 beta (and L4D1) arm view models but this beta Ellis doesn't? The hands are all twisty like in first person still with the L4D1 weapon animations.
