Regarding my post from Jan 25th could you possibly create one of them
SevenofThr4wn 25. jan. 2021 kl. 3:11
All it would need is a miniature connector, a
few thrusters, a jump drive and a programmable block to jettison it from the launch tube

Oh the pods these things travel in?
SevenofThr4wn 25. jan. 2021 kl. 3:06

@Kreeg: can you make a version of a hyperspace pod, like the on from the Empire Strikes Back???

Now I never have to pester you ever again! XD

Hey; I did everything you said, and it worked. Thanks.
This probe droid is awesome, by the way. Only downside
is that you can't send it out very far before you lose the
transmission, but other than that, it's really cool. :steamhappy:

Ok; thanks a lot for your help! :steamhappy:

It's an antenna, remote-access. So hit K, go to the top left where your engineer name is listed, click that, select the Probe droid, ta da, now you're in that Grid's control panel remotely.

Ok; I apparently need A LOT of help with this. What I did
is I created the probe droid. Then I jumped on top of it and
went over to its antenna to see if I could access its controls
or whatever you said I need to do with its antenna to control
it and nothing happened. There's no thing for me to turn
on or anything; all that's there is a little crosshair marked
"Imperial Probe Antenna" and that's it. There's nothing for
me to click on or activate or anything. Could you
please walk me step by step through everything I need
to turn this thing on and control it, please? And if there's
no remote controller included with your astronaut to
begin with how do I get/make one? Ugh! I'm so sorry....
I don't know why I'm too stupid to figure this out. :steamfacepalm:

Sorry; I'm a bit of a noob with technical
stuff like this; sorry. I've only started
playing Space Engineers recently.

Ok; thanks. I'll tinker with this thing a little bit
and contact you tomorrow if I have any further
problems.

It has a remote-control unit built in, I believe it's called "Imperial Probe Top II"
Use the remote-access via the built-in antenna, then go to that block mentioned
Which will act as a Remote-control block.

For programming, it has a Programming-block called "Imperial Probe Top I"
But that requires C# scripting knowledge to truly get value on it.

Sorry to be such a bother. :steamsad:

Also is there a separate device I need to use that is used for remotely controlling
this thing or is it built into the robot itself?
Spyro The Gamer 🎮 23. juli 2019 kl. 11:54
Hey...um....I downloaded this a while ago, and it's awesome, but....I would
appreciate a little help. I can't seem to figure out how to remotely control
this thing. I also have no idea where the remote control device is...please
help me.....currently all the probe droid does in space is just sit there.
Also, do you know of any planetary maps I can use it in? Because
all the ones I've tried it on so far they've always said "This object
uses blocks not found in this world. These missing blocks may cause
it to split. Do you want to paste it anyway?". Also how do I program
robots in this gaem? I don't know how to do that either.....:steamsad:
