I mean you'd need to be REALLY unlucky to get banned for a map. What about everyone else here that posts call of duty stuff or even black mesa stuff? I don't think they have a license. And something you could do(never tested and i think it would take time) is "simpy" ask permission to valve if you can pack everything in :)

That would open the map up to getting banned for redistributing paid assets. It's not likely the map will get banned for that, but I'd rather not risk it.

I got the post-disaster version, put aliens all about and saved it. All is good in my world.

i also use hldm: s to use the textures, it works amazing.

Yeah I get multiple reports that HLDMS does work, I should probably update the description to include it, but that's a problem for future me
