i think this gun will go nicely with another mod i found. the gunshots are Revolver Ocelot saying "BANG" and i just want a gun that looks like one he uses. and yours fits it.

@ Rachel: The firing animation actually took more time to get "right" (I guess it's kinda subjective).

I chose to go with this style mostly because the lower recoil just felt weak and it made it difficult to fit the faster animation into slower fire rate of the Desert Eagle slot. When I tested the gun, I kept on trying to fire it too early, which I figured would be annoying while playing.

You're not wrong, but I had to take balancing and general feel into account.

Good stuff, but about the animation - I get it that firearm with shorter barrel typically kicks more, due to simply being lighter. But I don't think this particular revolver should "jump" quite as much as it does. It fires from the bottom chamber, unlike most revolvers, meaning that recoil doesn't make the gun rise, rather it goes straight into shooter's hand, making it "jump" less.

Just sayin'.
