Not sure why this isn't rated at a 5 it deserves it.

So many fun things to do, so much pressure and a fine and fitting ending. I was going to post a couple of minor "flaws" like getting a new Khan or providing a shaman a bit earlier but I'm not sure if that would have made it better anyway.

This was a fun one. The time is ambiguous, but it's strongly implied to be before Sassanid Persia's conquest in the 600s, and in between Han's collapse and Sui's reunification, with warlords having their own say in China.

Played through the scenario twice. Very solid, although the second time around I encountered a bug where the sheep settlement did not grant me any resources. Luckily I was able to collect enough sheep int eh wilds to keep Lord of the Sky happy long enough for me to marry his princess.

Only other piece of feedback I have is that you might want to make it more obvious what the "material for our bows from yak's horns" does- I did not figure out that it was granting me wood until I read the comments here.

Aside from that, really fun scenario, looking forward to playing your other works!

Great campaign! More cstraight forward than the highest hall, but less epic in content. As explained earlier the relic carts were a hassle. it mentioned you needed ''3 relics and 1k gold to continue'' which i had, but only afterwards i found out i was supposed to still bring horses. Relic carts also randomly dissapeared. Looking forward to play Far side of the world! Expectations are windshield high :-D

Decent scenario. The mechanics are nice and the map is beautifully designed. The main flaw is that you don't really have to explore a big part of the map to survive and complete the objectives. It was pleasant though. :)

nice scenario. i couldn't find out what effect the buffalos had. after gökhan became my enemy the king stayed a yellow unit, so i couldn't kill him and couldn't finish the scenario.

there are a lot of relic carts in the map and you don't need the vast majority of them. maybe there could be an extra use for them? like player can give them to a bhuddist monastery in the mountains in exchange for a gold supply? or something. because in the end you just don't need them apart from the final objective

Interesting concept! Good work. Found a problem though: The Gökhan wanted to punish me and sent a horde, but his men never reached my camp, since they did not know where to find me. Maybe give that AI some map revealers where the Player builds up his camp, so he knows where to attack.

jsrcadams- Spoilers- The turk mongols always declare war on you at the end of the scenario. If there was a marriage between your khan and the turkish princess, your clan gets divided at this point and part of your soldiers betray you. A message appears. This was intended to be the final challenge for the player.

maybe replacing relic carts with relics in the future would be a decent idea too - i lost one to tribes of the steppe (well just task it to return to the camp and it got claimed at a trading post) and had no way to reclaim it. If you don't want conversion to happen you can just use triggers to return converted units to the original owner I think :)

Janniklasholst- to complete the quest you need to complete 3 goals. 1000 Gold, 3 Relic Carts at your own camp and also more horses. Maybe you have not enough horses at your stable?
Tribalbeat-3 relic carts are found by destroying enemy camps. fixed your problem with the idol trader (thanky you for pointing out the bug); I´m very sorry for your bug with the relic carts flying in persia - unfortunatly I can`t do anything about it :-( . Relic carts are a little messy to work with- won`t include them in my future projekts.

I have found two game breaking bugs! The first is that for some reason, two of the relic carts suddenly left my control and began flying to the lefthand side of the map near persia. I cannot reclaim control of these. Secondly, the idol trader is not giving me a relic when I put 4 horses near him. Are there any more than 4 relic carts on the map so that I can complete this? I have looked at everything but I guess I am stuck now.

Age of Eons- you can escort relic carts late in the game (after you reach imperial age) to the idol trader next to the chinese territory (village before the main chinese city; marked with 4 flags). You can also trade horses for relic carts there.

aidanmonica- See for the ingame objectives. A basic overview what you can trade (light spoilers below):
*Send 1 Horse to the stable/fenced area next to your campfire- get some food/ progress story/ get buildings/ technologies. Very important!
*Place 1 Archer and 1 Horse next to the campfire- train a powerful mangudei.
*Own 2 water buffalos- get wood from time to time
*Own 5 Goats and have a low population- get 2 weak warriors from time to time.
*Send 3 Sheeps next to the carpet weaver- get a carpet merchant.
*Send a carpet merchant to a chinese/persian market: get gold
*Click on the stable far into the west(horse trader) get a horse for 100 gold
* Send 4 Horses to the idol trader- get a relic cart
*Send a relic cart to idol trader- get gold
*Place a military unit next to a yellow outpost- get ressources and animals from time to time.
