When I put the lights in order, only the first light stays on and the rest of the lights do not glow. Does anyone know a solution to this phenomenon?
Asgeir 1. aug. 2022 kl. 17:41
has anyone found a way to make the flashing lights work?
Snagletooth 7. juni 2022 kl. 1:30
It's working for me, but couple notes.
a) Work down from the runway from the top, not the bottom (ei start at 8 or 16, not 1, or the will flash in wrong direction. The sequence starts at 1 so you want that at the farthest point from the runway.)

b) AnimUV is only needed to get the flashers to work. If not using flashers, it's not needed.

c) APVD is also not necessary, but highly suggested, as the lights otherwise have a very short distance and whats the point of lighting up an airport if you cant see it from above.

d) if using any other props associate with this this that ask for Custom Light Effects, use Custom Effects Loader instead as CLE is broke.

Hi @vasimir22, I have used your props before and they worked fine. I have all the listed dependencies on the right, but now the lights just simply wont light up. They remain dark. The same is happening with the runway markings as well, but I can live with that. These lights, not so much. I have tried disabling and enabling different mods that I have, but nothing is working. Also no error message as such. Technically they are fine, but they just wont glow. Any ideas?

@Captain Toof It's been so long, I don't remember why. It might have used a prop from that DLC (maybe the fence for the off-site assets)
Captain Toof 15. aug. 2021 kl. 1:18
Why natural disasters?

Vasimr22, have you had any issues with the sequenced flashers not working anymore? The lights all illuminate, but I don't get any sequential flashing and the buildings are all in the correct sequence.

@=SAVERS=#1 read the prerequisites on the right. If you have a green check next to each, then you will be fine. I will not individual links when they are already available through the steam workshop UI.

vasimir pls give me the links to all lights need for approach runway.. I don't know which is..

@=SAVERS=#1 see prerequisite list

Do I need to download other lights>?
or this is complete already>?
vasimr22  [ophavsmand] 3. okt. 2018 kl. 18:23
@nordskii Unfortunately there isn't, since it's an illumination map and not a light. It's possible that they will be more visible if you use the post-processing mod an enable bloom.
AmiPolizeiFunk 23. apr. 2018 kl. 2:39
ok thx. :medkit:
vasimr22  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. 2018 kl. 0:03
@AmiPolizeiFunk Yes, the prop visibility mod is on the required list. The flashing lights are props and will only flash on the main model (not the LOD). You need to adjust the prop visibility distance accordingly. Note that this will negatively affect performance.
AmiPolizeiFunk 22. apr. 2018 kl. 19:16
I can only see the flashing lights when the camera is very close to them. Is there a mod for this so you can see them from further away?
vasimr22  [ophavsmand] 21. apr. 2018 kl. 16:24
@HavoKForce probably not, especially since you can produce a decent result with the clusters over the water sitting on a pedestrian bridge (with bridge lighting removed). As for the airport surface raods, I considered it, but I think it will be more work than it is worth. I might look into it, or someone else might do it before me.
robeet 21. apr. 2018 kl. 9:36
Do you think you could make an SSALR or some other configuration on a pier so it could go out over water, that way you could have an approach light system over water without extending he land way out beyond the runway. Also could you make an airport surface road as a road, using your zipper lines, etc. to reduce prop usage?
alborzka 19. apr. 2018 kl. 14:07
Fantastic, thanks for the help! :)
vasimr22  [ophavsmand] 19. apr. 2018 kl. 13:32
@alborzka I don't think all of the assets have "ALS" in fron of them, if you go through my workshop page (starting from the last page) you can unsub from them as they appear.
It does also replace the animated strobe, which is included in this pack as a different asset.
Custom light effects are not required since they are not used. All of the lighting is done with vanilla lights and self-illumination textures.
alborzka 19. apr. 2018 kl. 12:21
Oh okay well that's easy enough then lol, pretty much anything with ALS in front of it? Including the animated strobe light? Then shouldnt Custom Light Effects be a required mod?
vasimr22  [ophavsmand] 19. apr. 2018 kl. 12:05
@alborzka This pack replaces all of the previous ALS assets.
alborzka 19. apr. 2018 kl. 6:33
How did this slip my radar? Awesome work as always! Just wondering if it's at all possible for you to list exactly what lights this replaces? There's a lot and I know this is linked to the Airport Props collection but would be nice to know which specific ones to unsub to :)
ausa07 18. apr. 2018 kl. 5:33
Thought so, that's great! Thanks for the clarification. Love your work :)
vasimr22  [ophavsmand] 18. apr. 2018 kl. 1:56
@ausa07 Thanks! Yes, these are meant to replace the other single assets, these are a little more accurate and look slightly better. You can unsub from the old ones.
ausa07 17. apr. 2018 kl. 23:39
Awesome stuff. Just one question: Is this pack meant to replace the individual approach lights you have created and uploaded in the past? (is there any reason for me to keep using the old ones you uploaded?) Thanks!
MobiusOne 17. apr. 2018 kl. 16:57
Amazing, thanks!
