yall know when glitch smile and they close their eyes when they smile? Could someone make a patch that enables that for vanilla races and modded races? that would be really cool if that could happen. I would love to do that, but i have no experience with coding and modding.

Yes, my in game Starbound character is as close to my actual character as possible. The clothing is a custom sprite I use.

I thought that was the oddest thing when I first realized that Avians basically cannot emote. iirc it's based on what "fluff" and "hair" option is selected, so some Avians in vanilla with little face detailing can still emote, but emotes won't show up on some 80% of them b/c the emotes themselves are literally covered by their own face... kind of a terrible design decision. Thanks for addressing this!

It's client-sided like most other sprite changes. You should be able to use it in multiplayer with others who do not have the mod installed.

Thanks for making this, the Vanillia Avian Emotes are infact bugged, and Chucklefish haven't fixed them, so this basicly fixes that bug.
