hm...it might need the "money Laundry" technology or something involving corruption. The specialized cheap units are called "mortadelas", mostly humble farmers and city teenagers converted but their sindicates, university teachers and social movements. The unique building is the "fachada", that can look like any other building in the game cos the money laundry technology will make the fachada generates A LOT of gold every turn, not the real building bonus. Your citizens will look poor with time but as a Leader you will be doing great and by the time of defeat you can escape to another civilization hotel and call it a win. Your fellow friends leaders will endorse it. That will fit reality.

When I play as Lula, all Events and Decisions get disabled whenever I have 1000 gold or more. If I have 999 gold or less they are still there

I am subscribed, the mod is installed, I do enable it. But when I try to set up the game, Lula is not an option for me to choose as leader! What can I do?

When I played this mod, all the decisions including civ specific ones and general ones just disappeared. There was nothing I could choose in the decision panel.

FINALLY! That was really bad to have Pedro II as leader, a noble that, as almost any other noble, fed on slavery, cruel privileges and only served the purpose of the rich.
