@sericuck the reason thats the case is because the only decent DDLC models come from Miku Miku dance, and the people who make them take their usage rights VERY seriously (I did download this model from MMD but its so badly converted you could hardly tell) . If I knew how to model really wellI would be tempted because theres a pretty big demand for that sort of thing but for now I just wouldnt know where to start.

The mod looked alright until I compiled it for the source engine. It was a big file so the compiler turned it into a raisin to make it fit. One day I might optimise it a little better so the mesh is smoother, but until then you get what you get. I do agree though, it's not ideal.
