Only if those custom campaigns use any of the official color correction files. I'm not sure how common that is though.

Well Paul, I'm not sure what you mean by cleaner, but it could always be a difference of graphics settings

I use gimp, and here's how.
rename .raw to .data open in gimp with the following settings:
rgb
0
256
128
B,G,R,X
0
none
