Read the comment bit below it goes over the same thing.... there's nothing I can do about it, it's just the way the engine was made. As for your second part unless you want the whole BANG sound clip to last about .4 seconds it's going to overlap a bit... but to be honest I feel like that kind of adds to the crazyness of deadpool and kind of fits

The BANG sounds are bugged I think. When I get dual pistols, the first one makes a proper single BANG effect per shot. However, when I shot with the second one, it makes double BANG effect per shot. When I shoot continuously these BANG sounds are starting to overlap each other.

it's awesome, just if you wanna work on it some more, i noticed when you have dual pistols equipped, the right hand pistol plays the soundclip twice, but aside from that, it's awesome

The only file in that location is the file you would have to overwrite. And for modding the sound all I did was take the orginal sound file splice it with the bang sound (which I strechted or moved to fit in with the orginal sound) using audacity then you have to make a sound mod using the L4D2 Tools from steam and you can find a tutorial on how make the mod online. (sorry I don't remember the site anymore but you can find it by searching google)

Apparently Deadpool's files are stored in an FSB archive. I can try and make it myself I guess. Trouble is that it's hard to know which L4D2 files to replace.

Actually that wouldn't be possible because the bang audio file is fussed with the pistol sound so I couldn't just rip them apart. I would need the orginal Bang audio file which again I don't know if I have and I have no clue where I got it from to begin with.

Zero, you can extract the audio from this by downloading it from the Workshop maybe

maybe I don't know if I still have to audio file and the software to do it because when I made the mod it was on a different laptop than what I have now. I will try though.

Thats because the custom pistols probably have there own sound file that is overwriting the one I made.

i like the sound mod but, the only problem i have with this mod is i can't use it with custom pistols :/
