or 75/90% less XP needed?
not sure if it would work tho.
The amount gained from combat is reduced.
And the amount gained from combat is not something this mod alters.
I would need to have a good look around to find the files who deal with that.
Every hour in combat gains XP to your generals. without a fall off
New XP system;
Every day in combat gains XP to your generals. With a maximum reduction of the XP gained by 90% when a combat lasts for 30days or more.
(an example these values are not known to me)
So say normally you would gain 1xp per hour in combat.(24XP per day)
You now have say 20XP per day, but after 30days you would only gain 2XP per day.
These numbers would only apply on a combat that is always going on without interuption of said combat.
i think this would be a correct way of thinking of it
30 days = 90% fall off = 3% per day loss that the unit is in combat
So say a short combat lasts 3 days, first day = 20XP, second day = 19.6XP, thrirth day = 18.8 XP
and so on, untill you reached that 30days max. where you only end up with 2XP per day.
Note that im not 100% sure if this is how it works, but it is how i understand it.(values are all made up for example sake)
What you feel as being different is the the rate that combat gives XP to a commander.
Basicly(in simpel terms) a long drawn out battle will start giving less XP to a command. then several "relative quick once"
I believe paradox said, that at the start of a battle the commander will gain 100% XP
But if a single battle lasts for about month, then on the 30th day the commander will only gain 10% XP
not sure why they apply this logic, have to admit that i was half asleep when i read the post on their forums.
i know paradox said they would change the values. but so far the files from 1.5.1 are the same as the files from 1.4
So yea go ahead, use the files to create a 1% version if you like.
but it still works as it should.
But, i do think you can still use this one, even tho i marked it for the DLC.
Seeing how you should have acces to the new trait trees for the generals.
Please try it, if not i shall make a seperated version that does not require the DLC tomorrow.
@other asking for update: Will update it tomorrow for the 1.5.1 version.
