Part of it was to imitate the more high-tech prosthetics and just so you have an option for a playing a game with more tribal options without being hamstrung.

rly like the idea, but the efficency boost doesnt make sense. a social impact would be quite resonable, but body part efficency?

I'll have a look into it, I'm not totally well up on how to do it which is why it wasn't included originally but if you think it would be useful then guess I better get studying haha

As a possible suggestion - maybe there could be a later research that allows tattoos to be removed? (Or make it part of one of the advanced tattoo researches.) That way if you decided you don't want one of the drawbacks anymore there's a way out of it. (That was how I ended up with two tattoos in one slot - I was trying to remove a tattoo I no longer wanted.)

I accidentally put more than one tattoo on the same slot on a colonist as well. I hope I didn't break something.

Absolutely! I'll add on some different spots for making the piercings. And I'm not sure why it will let you add more than one piercing - I'm not sure how to change it anyway!

So I attempted to replace a colonist's nose ring with another type of nose ring and now she's wearing both of them. Is this intentional? If so, how many piercings can I wear in the same slot at once?

yes, that was the badly described problem. the tattoos only showed up in the op menu for prisoners. but today i realised it was because of me playing a twilek tribe from one of the star wars mods. i just spawned a human colonist to check, and it works. cool mod idea!

You should be able to tattoo a colonist if you have a design in a stockpile just by selecting it from the operations menu - is it showing up just for prisoners but not for colonists?

So I noticed that the belts from this, much like the EM tools, cannot be stored in stockpiles. The jewelry can be stored just fine.

Oh man, this mod is so cool. What a creative way to apply the prosthetics system to early tribal stuff while still keeping the flavor around. Great work dude, 10/10.

Update:
-tribal raiders/visitors now sometimes spawn with tattoos/jewellery
-the operation failure chance for piercing/tattooing has been drastically reduced

Next update i'll make it so you can stockpile it sure, and yes works fine with EPOE, just uses up slots like normal implants etc

Can you make it so necklaces and belts can be put into a stockpile? I have tried many times to find the object(s) in the list but I can not find it there.

Tiny research tree to learn all the tattoos/pigments, piercings and jewellery don't require any
4 new pigments you can mix in order to make 4 new designs

Tattoos and piercings are now implants not bionics (so no replacing lost hands and have them magically reappear!)
Balanced the plant amounts for pigments and necklaces

i have the mod "i want everything of you" that allows me to even remove... everything, i installed the mod and will test if i can remove it with it
