@DaOPCreeper
Yes. Any 1x3 and 1x4 stock low residential assets could turn into this building when it reaches level 3
DaOPCreeper 11. aug. kl. 7:06
also, does this apply to all the different stock 1x3 versions of houses or only a cretin one(s)? like if the level 1 version that spawns is the little shack one, could that turn into this when it reaches level 3?
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. kl. 21:23
@DaOPCreeper
I believe there is a mod or one has the feature to block certain vanilla ones from spawning but I'm not sure the name...
DaOPCreeper 10. aug. kl. 10:46
how do i makes sure that i get these when the building reaches level 3 instead of one of the stock ones?
charley 26. jan. kl. 23:26
Just the right amount of formstone in these assets
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 19. sep. 2022 kl. 6:23
@VandelayOfficial
I am interested but...I don't have a plan to expand the style soon at this moment
kranyarssk14 12. sep. 2022 kl. 23:15
Hey khrysler, do you think you'd be interested in making the more Baltimore-style rowhomes? I was thinking the kind that have built in porch with the awning.

@$IN @matt_terzi I've had luck just plopping these with RICO. Works great.
Aperture 28. maj 2019 kl. 12:35
As a Baltimore rowhouse dweller, I thank you for this model pack!
JJamiah 23. mar. 2019 kl. 17:13
these and your other rowhouses dont show up in the building themes settings, now i gotta copy and paste :(
matt_terzi 11. dec. 2018 kl. 5:18
Hey, sorry for the incredibly basic question, but I've read the tutorial you linked to, but can't seem to get these awesome rowhomes to spawn/grow. Wondering if I'm thinking of the orientation incorrectly.

When you say 1 x 3, do you mean 1 space wide and 3 spaces deep (from the road), or 1 space deep (from the road) and 3 spaces wide?

I grew up in one of these houses and can't wait to see them spawn in my city!
dsadz81 27. juli 2018 kl. 19:11
absolutely love your work. really helps me when building a Philadelphia style city. What I'd love to see in the future is the style of row homes where the windows are popping out of the front. Like these https://cdn10.phillymag.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Rowhouses_06-940x540.jpg or https://cdn10.phillymag.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Screenshot-2015-07-13-10.54.16-e1436799384594.png

I looked at these 'n thought they reminded me of Hampden in Baltimore, cool to see something in the workshop inspired by my hometown!
tomb 24. mar. 2018 kl. 8:10
@Scorsio: You could do it all with props.. you'd need a plywood prop and planks prop for boarding up doors and windows, And tehre are already grfitti decals on the WS. "NIcer" rowhouses just have better yard furniture and -everyones favorit add-on - a roof deck!
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 18. mar. 2018 kl. 15:06
@Scorsio
It's a tough questions to answer...I would say any types...2 or 3 stories. No security grilles on windows. Perhaps with a nice wood deck in a backyard with plants and chairs? I'm not familiar with Phily but I would look for references in South Phily or Fishtown or some sort of upcoming hip area.
Scorsio 17. mar. 2018 kl. 13:37
@Khrysler

What types of homes do you recommend building in order to generate the lvl 3 low residential row homes?
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2018 kl. 12:09
@Scorsio
I think it'll be too big to be a level 1 building. Having this building growing in the very beginning of your village would probably be a bit odd. Perhaps without the back part would fit into that level? I really wish CS had the wealth system like Simcity 4
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2018 kl. 12:01
@williammallon
' high-rise ban' only prevents buildings from reaching the highest level. so they will reach level 4 for residentials. I used this mod that allows you to control levels on each building and even on district.
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=410535198

It's a great mod but it breaks what really city building simulation is cause you can force to have a slum in the most desirebale area in your city. So the second way is the way I like to take but doesn't work all the time to make/keep the poor area...
Scorsio 17. mar. 2018 kl. 10:52
@ Khrysler, no I actually ment low residential.
williammallon 17. mar. 2018 kl. 9:34
If you use the' high-rise ban' would that have any affect on keeping the building at the level you want ? Or possibly not adding services or parks and other amenities to keep the land value low.
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2018 kl. 7:29
@Scorsio
I'm guessing you meant as level 1 high residential? I had the exact same thought and a difficullt time to decide between level 3 low and level 1 high to be honest. 2-story building doesn't sound like high density so I ended up to make it as level 3 low residental. But I still totally see your point. More opinions are welcomed
Scorsio 17. mar. 2018 kl. 5:37
So, not sure if others would agree. But maybe level 1 versions of these could be similar to vacant residences like you have in Baltimore and Philadelphia? I.e. boarded up windows.

For those who create a poorer section in their city it would be very realistic.
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 12. mar. 2018 kl. 20:34
@Chris6d
Awesome :) If you find something interesting or clever or funny, perhaps you can drop it to me

@crazyguystudios
No prob ;)
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 12. mar. 2018 kl. 20:21
@nickg98
Perhaps I should create a small guide for my rowhouse assets...Any 1xwhatever assets are very rare to spawn in game because bigger assets always takes the prioirity (it's very underdeveloped system in my opinion) and unfortunately building size never breaks down or merge like Simcity 4 did :(
What I do is zone 1 tile and skip 1 tile and zone 1 tile again as if you are creating stripes. Wait buildings to spawn on those, then fill the rest and you'll have a beautiful row of houses. I use this method to create a medium density area. It's tidy but works :)
Popeyes Chicken 12. mar. 2018 kl. 18:14
Alright Im looking foward to the next ones thanks for making these.
nickg98 12. mar. 2018 kl. 16:47
Awesome model, but I'm having some trouble getting your models to grow in my city. Any advice?
Chris6d 11. mar. 2018 kl. 13:57
Sounds great! They all make an awesome addition to my city anyways, as I'm from NY, so :steamhappy:
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2018 kl. 12:47
@Chris6d
You almost read my mind when you said deli! I'm thinking to build or update some signs and awnings with variations (deli, convenience store, nail saloon? etc.),as I'm working on a commercial corner building now
Chris6d 11. mar. 2018 kl. 12:08
@Khrysler sure. And maybe more storefronts. I just figured the one with the deli would make an epic CS building.
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2018 kl. 11:53
@crazyguystudios
Thanks. I wasn't thinking about the curved ones. They look wider than the flat ones so It might be diffucult to fit nicely in 1 or 2 tiles as wall to wall. As for ones with a baywindow, it's on my list but I was thinking with a flat roof
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2018 kl. 11:39
@Chris6d
Thanks. The building looks a lot similar to what I already built before shape-wise. Are you looking for some color variations rather than the brick color? Then, I can tweak one of them and release as different asset perhaps
Popeyes Chicken 10. mar. 2018 kl. 14:42
Thank you so much I love rowhoues, and admire Baltimore's architecture. Could you possibly do a rowhouse with a baywindow or a curves front. Like these http://cmeimg-a.akamaihd.net/640/photos.demandstudios.com/getty/article/139/111/179284694.jpg

Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 9. mar. 2018 kl. 13:46
@donoteat
Probably the most common ones have 3 windows like you said. I'm sure you can find 5 windows ones in Baltimore as well.

But If confess one more big difference that I noticed, It's the front doors. The most rowhouses in Phily always have 2 doors next each other like this one or let's say mirrored. Ones in Baltimore are exact copies of one another so front doors are far apart. More variations to make huh? lol
donoteat 9. mar. 2018 kl. 12:31
ok i've been holding this in but i gotta say it

baltimore rowhouses have three windows
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 8. mar. 2018 kl. 6:24
@Scorsio
THANKS lol I don't have any level 1 or 2 for these rowhouses (yet?). I don't know if anybody made rowhouses for those levels and size in low-density. Perhaps predecessor should be detached houses rather than rowhouses?

@williammallon
My pleasure
Khrysler  [ophavsmand] 8. mar. 2018 kl. 6:11
@defishel
Thanks. I'm sure you can find plenty of tutorials on Guide here and Youtube or perhaps some forums because that's how I learned the most of stuff (anything for these days). But I could say that texturing all depends on how you make a model, how much quality you want and how lazy you wanna be etc. lol If you can contribute, you're very very welcome cause there's 3568 variations left to make
williammallon 7. mar. 2018 kl. 23:15
Another great addition.Thanks for sharing.
Scorsio 7. mar. 2018 kl. 13:11
Curious...any recommendations you have for these level 3 houses? I don't see a level 1 or 2 predecessor.
Scorsio 6. mar. 2018 kl. 17:41
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THIS IS AWESOME! I AM FROM BALTIMORE AND THIS IS PERFECT!
UrbanArchit 6. mar. 2018 kl. 16:31
I love these rowhouses you've been making! I wish I could contribute some, but I can't figure out how to do texturing. :(
