Naumachia sounds interesting 👍🏻
FYI
I chatted to a mate about the galleys. He’s more knowledgeable on this stuff and replied...
“ The trouble is that every .OBJ file has an associated .MTL file that links it to the .JPG "skin". The .MTL file is not included when TTS saves the model and image files. There is software called UV mappers that are supposed to unite the 2 but all are complicated and I have not been able to get them to do it. I can open the model without the "skin" but it obviously has no colours. I can make the model 1 generic "wood" colour and save it as this but it is not very inspiring. I can remove the base from his models but this leaves a big hole in the bottom. This can be avoided by saving in .STL format and then resaving as .OBJ, a time consuming process.”
Sounds like once it becomes a saved object it’s a bit harder to put it all together again.
i'll see what i have knocking about. i was going to do the Naumachia rules (3D6, very lovely) but got distracted. IIRC, i did 1/2 a dozen vessels, before "life came knocking" again. I'll have a look in muh dusty archives for ya.
That sounds perfectly reasonable!
I'm three thumbs on 3D objects - not really sure how to do it. Any chance you could do just a single trireme model for me - one red, one blue and I could use that please?
If you are into Greek Warfare, I've just made a module for the Perfect Captain Hoplomachia series. I'd like to include the triremes in that.

...at the very least, you get my module. Thanks for all the work you do.
Cheers
another method...open up the models texture file.. (right click to get the link, iirc), and just "white out" the Roman Seas data with any paint program. You could put your own data in the white space too. that's probably your best bet. Sadly, i don't have the time to fix 200+ ships right now.
hope that helps.
I'd like to use your ancient naval ships for a bit of TTS naval gaming - using Corvus Belli rules. Any chance you could make the ships 'waterline only' ie remove the base from the roman seas ships? This essentially makes a waterline naval model usable for any game.
I am not compliant with any way to do that from a saved object.
if you could that would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Happy Wanderer
Cheers
Any chance you can make this module public so I can play with a friend please?
Cheers
