A more capacious stomach, of course, is good, as is the rapid disappearance of the satiety effect. But it would be better if this mod also did so that during the energy recovery of the character, starvation accelerated for the time of energy recovery. That would be really cool.
It's just a pity that we will never see such a fashion.
And playing with this current mod now, it's like playing with a mod for slower fasting. You just eat more, and it's easy to get food.

This mod no longer works with Frackin universe. It won't cause any problems, it just doesn't do anything

copy the unique code after "id=".
find under he steam folder, steamapps/workshop/content/211820 (211820 is starbound's workshop ID!)
search for the mod ID.
This is how you find source files.
To unpack starbound mods, I use "PAKit". searching "starbound pakit" brought up some results that will lead to the installation file. Install it. Run it. Follow UI, unless you can't understand the UI then you shouldn't mess with starbound files.
remember syntax when editing!!

@jaded353 Frackin races actualy overwrites the larger belly feature, but not the rest. if anything, it also makes some races ultra hungry with increased metabolism (e.g. fenerox).

*manages to track down the actual file for the mod and looks at it in notepad* wait....actually...ok so apparently i just proved myself wrong...i think i actually could just edit one or two values and post a secondary version using mostly the same exact code, obviously i would give you full credit but consider this as me asking permission to do so?

honestly, i kinda want a side version without the added stomach capacity, food depleting faster? yup, can't be full for as long? yup, respawn with 35%? yup, but the capacity? honestly i kinda want it to 'force' me to eat soon after spawning, i want food to be a major concern even for one who enabled hunger in casual mode, and as you said, practically nobody but you actually seems interested in making such a mod (i would do it myself but i honestly know next to nothing about coding)

it actually allows you to last longer without food.
just gotta eat out the fridge. good for MFM.

Default hunger always distract me from long-time things like building or making animated posters, this mod make it much worse.

Like to update from my previous post, that was when I was playing as Kazdra so hunger reduction did stifle this mod by degree, but now playing as Elduukhar with CN More Farming: Revitalization and FU Addon, brings plentiful culinary immersion. :3

Would it be possible to make a standalone mod that simply removes the full belly effect? Cant find any mods that do that and i'm trying to break the game by stacking absurd amounts of buffs, lol

Hey thanks for this - Sustaining your character is a fun task in itself, especially during the start of the game.

Frackin' Universe adds a cheap-to-craft hunting rifile - So every 3 in-game days, I find myself flying around the starting planet in the camper from the "I Just Want to Drive That Van" mod, blasting everything which moves for meat, like a true redneck. :P

It dosent change player.config file completely, it patches some values on it, mainly for food bar changes.
Also your food bar should be able to hold 200 units with this mod on, read the description.

Does it change the 'player.config' file completely? I'm trying to change the value of the hunger bar from 70 to 150.

it works on any mode which has a "hunger" tag or whatever, adding in the hunger meter.
otherwise, it does what MINISKDI said.

in casual mode it only changes your "full belly" effect.

well the point of farm produceing is saveing a little for yourself and the rest for selling to earn pixels at a fast rate if your good enoth and if you want store the left over's in a fridge thats how i wold use a farm

I unpacked assets and made a small modification to nerf the heck out of the healing. So no need to make it if I am the only one who wants it. An alternate download might appeal to others that don't know how to change it themselves however. Either way, cool idea on this mod, I always felt like the basic needs in the game werent very strictly enforced. No more dying on ship for a full food bar, haha,

10 steaks is equivalent in this mod to a salve or two when you're just beginning

Full belly healing is too strong. 10% per second makes you pretty unkillable on a full stomach. Love everything bout this mod except for that, too OP in my opinion. Any chance of an alternate version with vanilla healing?

Then this is not the mod you are looking for, you can stick with the vanilla hunger system or look at the dozen mods that makes you less hungry

i think you should balance the mod, its to strong hunger drain, no-one needs to eat 6 cans of food every day, but its a great concept

Should work with all races, unless you have other mods that change hunger.

Well I've tried it and doesn't seem much different, apart from the inital feeding to fill up.

i have never tested things like that but thinking of modability levels it would probably revert back to normal.

i think the food system in starbound is just shit in general and needs reworking, youre not hungry enough for it be a legimate and constand concern, but its still fast enough to a point when it can seem impossible to get food in time for you to not die
