yee this isn't a mil mi 24a but a modified french helicopter from the rambo movies

An interesting fact is that the helicopters seen in both films aren't even actual Hinds at all. They are really Aérospatiale Pumas mocked-up to look like the real Soviet gunships. This was a common trick in the 1980s, as when shooting for Rambo III was moved to America, the authentic Soviet weaponry was replaced by mocked-up or fake props.

This is not a real Mi-24, it's a model of Soviet Mi-24 from Rambo 2 and 3. Good copy of French helicoprer SA.330 Puma.

I think the closest movie prop we got to an MI-24 in the 80s was the original Red dawn. I heard that the mock Soviet weapons and vehicles looked so realistic, that it caught the attention of the government XD
