Do you mean add an oil resource to a province? The mod currently has a cheat for OIL gain from current oil supply. You can always use the construction cheat to build refineries instantly.

I tried making the mod compatible with everything, I have yet to test it with any big overhual mods. I don't think it will though however since those mods edit literally every aspect of the game.

I have to stop using this mod man. I tried to continue using it in man the guns, but it cuts off many crucial things to the dlc (the congress options for the US never appeared and the event that tells you King Edward VIII got married never fired). So, yeah. It was fun using the mod while it lasted.

I don't think there will be an update any time soon.

Hobo McChicken©®™ How hard is it? Just change the research code to research_speed_factor then it completely fixes the cheat, i done it manually

For those who do not like to read past comments: The patch that came along with the "Man the Guns" DLC changed how research worked. The old scripts that allowed for a decision to boost research no longer work. The only way research can get boosted is through a National Focus, or at least that's all that could be found. The mod author, Nikorasu-chan, is working to find a work-around for the issue.

@Agente_De_Elite_0234 no, when using a mod like this they are disabled. Only mods you can use and get achivements are ones that do not modify the gameplay such as historical german flag and other ones like that

You can cheat with the console command one research slot at a time (research one). When I chose "all" research, which is stupid anyway, there were some problems. Also seeing some other minor issues not related to this mod but to the patch I think.

@Nikorasu have you thought of making a script that calls on the debug console you could cheat research that way i suppose

Yeah the new update changed how the research works. For some odd reason whenever I switched it to the new code, it doesn't wanna work on decisions but does for focuses for example. Not many nations get a research speed boost, however, one for example is the Soviet Union. I tried using the new code, but like I said it doesn't seem to wanna work. I will try and find an alternative soon.

The research option doesn't have an affect attached to it so it doesn't decrease research speed.

I used the cheat in the console to research everything, so need to role-play and use some discipline for a while ;)

For me, no Cheat Mod, no HOI IV. At least this update seems worth the hassle for modders.
