This is genuinely the most fun plane I have flown in any video game. It strikes the balance of fun to fly and feels fair when some ai shoots you down with a pistol. My biggest complaint is that there is only the one variant.

Btw these were made in ww2 to support b29 bombers, since escort aircraft couldn't fly as far as bombers. They were stored on trapeze in the bomb bay, but ere scraped when air refueling became a thing.

i love how fast it goes. i reeeealy feel like im flying a jet with this jet. Really wish other jet mods would take note of this mod, being fast and able to turn really quickly is just so much fun! i litteraly cant see myself using any other jet mod XDD Great job!!!

Its actually a McDonnell XF-85 Goblin, which was interestingly enough a 'Parasite Fighter' meant to drop out of the bomb bay of heavy strategic bombers. at the time being the B-29 Superfortress or the Convair B-36 Peacemaker.

It looks like a Soviet MIG fighter if you put it in a can crusher.

This was actually a fighter that would sit in one of the bomb bays of a heavy bomber. A MIG-15 would come and say "This will be an easy kill." The bomber would drop the Goblin out like it was a bomb and the Goblin would take down the interceptor. It also negated the need for machinegun turrets.
