P.S. also notice 'puddles' seem to adversely affect frame rates for some reason as well, could be CPU cycles though if its constantly generating errors, hard to tell until its fixed :)

Can confirm standing issue is still an issue. Had the same problem, turned water puddles off and it went away, you can also see it in the debug log where the error occurs when it tries to create the 'job' as well as the co-ordinates of the puddles listed when you turn the right logging options on.

So in short, dont use puddles in the mod options and everything else works fine.

I have the same issue with pawns stuck "standing" when trying to clean water puddles- I've installed the cleaning area mod in the hopes to fix the issue by restricting the cleaning area to roofed sections, however now my pawns attempt to clean puddles outside of my cleaning zone but still within the home zone; resulting in them constanly looping through restricted cleaning tasks.

Additionally, all this is occuring with the default mod settings- that is, the clean puddles setting disabled.

Can confirm the water puddles are a bit too hardcore at the moment, it wasn't as much of an issue last time I used this mod on A17 if I recall correctly

I'd love you a long time if you'd make the mod able to disable visual effect from rain. Would make streaming the game much nicer

So after doing some testing with my mods I found that this mod can halt cleaning. It'll fail to reserve cleaning puddles and prevent cleaning of things further than the closest puddle to the cleaner. I can thoerise the intended feature behind this bug that being that if it's raining, cleaning will mainly be on puddles because of how fast they come back thus stopping cleaning of more important things like dirt inside. There is already a fix of this bug in the mod config options, that being "clean water puddles", which I believe is disabled by default. I would like to see a fix for this or maybe even just a warning in the discription above as it's nearly game breaking.

Hi, there seems to be a bug. When pawns try to clean water puddles, they just freeze in place and their job description says "Standing".

Here's the log in dev mode:

Ive had the water puddles cause lag at x3 speed, switching to x2 seems to instantly cure it 10/10 times, and I think water puddles creating while someone is on cleaning might be why they bug in place.

i noticed a strange bug i guess you could call it, whilst using this mod if my colonists have nothing to do they are frozen in place, they wont even do any cleaning work, now im not sure if its a mod conflict or if it is this mod itself, all i know is once i disabled it the problem stopped, anyone else experienced this?

There should be a limit to the number of puddles that can be created or an option to turn them off. largs maps get very laggy when they form

Would it be possible to tone down the horizontal movement or something? The effects go though walls sometimes. It still would make sense if it went through doors as if it was seeping through the cracks.

CleaningArea is a mod that controls... well, which areas the pawns will clean. :P So with something like this, maybe the puddles thing can be an option instead of completely disabled since you can just opt to leave them to dry outside with the other mod.

I turned off the frost animations on Nature's Pretty Sweet (in mod settings) and gave it a try... seems to work well but don't take my word for it and make a backup save :S

This is awesome! Could you make puddles an option if you add them? I'm not sure how they would work with Nature is Pretty Sweet since map tiles can turn into water tiles when it rains.
