insane work sir! very useful and balance. does there have any chance to bring this great mod to wh3 T_T? i search wh3 workshop, only have one name call "Settlement Recruitment 2", but this one are bring too much t2 or plus unit.... yes or not still thank you anyway. and sorry for my poor english >_<.

Hi Thank you for the mod! The error I am here to dicuss is thrown by KMM concerning

wh2_main_special_settlement_skavenblight_4_other
wh2_main_special_settlement_hellpit_5_other
wh_main_special_settlement_miragliano_vmp_5

all variants 2-3-4 etc

as non existant in my building level table. I couldn't find them I checked the dependacy cache and it was empty of other mods as well.

I dug deeper and found

wh2_main_special_settlement_skavenblight_other_4
wh2_main_special_settlement_hellpit_other_5
wh2_main_special_settlement_miragliano_other_5

in building level table

Notice the subtle difference in character order toward the ends of each line.

My thinking is it was patched later and the names altered?
Would really love some clarity as it appears to alteration which I am happy to do but I would prefer to hear from somebody more knowing.

Hey this is a great idea. I'd really like some more flexibility in general tbh, is there any chance you might be interested in making a mod that lets you recruit any single entity/large unit to any army? Dying to have a couple carnosaurs in my high elf army.

Seems the High Elves have a base of spear men and archers as well...

I have a suggestion:
Give Skaven in T-2 clanrates with spears (325)
Give the skaven in T-3 both variants of clanrates with shields (350) and (375)
Rationale: High elves in T-1 have access to a unit for (500) and (475) gold.

@Deviant That's true. I suppose if an Imperial settlement can find militia recruits in Naggaroth or Lustria, they probably can in Norsca as well. I will revisit that in next update.

The only drawback is that most factions do not have the ability to recruit in the lands of Norsca.

Updated. It looks like CA moved part of the way towards implementing this mod in the main game with the last patch, but there are still significant gaps so I will continue to update and use this mod.

Thanks mate, I was able to replicate the error even when I had disabled all other mods so I don't think it was a mod conflict if that helps

I noticed a bug with Malus, he can recruit free company from the Elven colony settlement buildings in the Vortex Campaign along with the regular core units.

This is such a good mod, with it, I've never seen the ai get stuck in a province with only 1 recruitment building (such as a chariot or artillery building one) and then proceed to recruit 19 chariots or sieges lol

@Zeitgeist When the provinces are as large as they are in games such as Warhammer and Rome total war, the idea of the "frontlines" is not applicable. In any provinces this large, several recruting centers would be in existance, from within the various cities which would have provided for their own defence on most occasions, down to rural town squares. It makes no sense that a province with multiple population centers would not have conscripts.

SImply to be nitpicking for an otherwise clever mod: from the age of Rome to the feudal lords, ending at present day, recruiting was indeed a widespread phenomenon; yet, even in the direst of times, freshrecruited troops were trained in specific locations before being assigned to an army.
There are documented cases when even in enemy territory, training happened behind the front lines, in secondary camps, with veterans of the same army as instructos.

Now the point is: logic wise, recruiting any kind of trained fighter from a generi population, only with a general, does not ake that much sense. But I would consider interesting a mod that added the possibility to recuit the same units present in the army; of course given such units are lvl 7 or above.

that problem already exists, so it should at least be balanced shitty armies instead of 18 of the same unit. And they will eventually lose those armies and replace them.

Cool, i was thinking implementing Parts, if not all into my Better AI 2 Mod.
Although I'm worried if the AI builds up shitty Armies, before it can even recruit good ones, as it never disbands :/
