Why is the chrome texture so dark? When i put it on i can barely see it. Can you fix it or is it my fault or something? I don't think i have any conflicting addons.

run whereis lua/tfa/external/tfa_ins2_usp_match.lua in the console
if output doesn't show id of this addon - clean up your addons until it does
and try verifying game files

The gun works beautifully but sometimes the chrome skin just doesn't, which is fine actually. Black is just as beautiful and deadly.

It actually only has the main lua file which contains the weapon's code, but other than that of course I did not reupload it fully. The only way I was able to add in the skins is to replace the main lua file so I am not sure what you mean by patcher. But thanks :)

as long as you're not touching the base files its fine i guess
(e.g. a patcher that adds new skins to the weapon is ok, full reupload is not)
