Confirmed bug with Apollo's Ironsiders Port . It seems to whitewash the color from all the faces of your units.

Aha, i see! Though it was possible by just deleting/editing some files.. oh well no worries, was just curious for an easy way :) kind of wanted to have Dryrain provinces reskin and Empire with this

Lol ive resorted to using the missus's shitty pc just so i can get my total war fix through med 2. There sure is although it would be a task that i have no idea to accomplish, it would be easier to introduce them as *new units* only available to the empire/reikland faction.

If i wanted this reskin only for the empire faction (not other states), is it possible to edit that with PFM ?

Got some big news guys, i am having a break from gaming and modding as i will be selling my computer due to how big of a distraction it is to me. Ive taken time off work to renovate my home but every day i find myself sitting on the PC. I expect ill be away for the rest of the year and perhaps a few months into next. I will be keeping my mods updated (the missus's PC/toaster) so you guys can continue too enjoy them :) Ill have steam on my phone if people wish to contact me aswell.

ado's_state_troopers, itll either be in your data folder or youll have to find it in the steamapps/workshop/content folder (this has become a real pain now but ohh well)

steam://openurl/http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1182043402 this mod achieves it on a more subtle level, but opviously its heavy in the artsy fartsy hats and tight pants style which i personally like :) i will be releasing another reskin, however it is going to be quite different as i wanna go for a more ruggered look with the state troops, basically there will be less faction colours present in the units and more peasant looking uniforms. Im also thinking about doing unit mods for the empire units like stir river patrol, nuln ironsides and so on :)

Hey Adopotato, just dropping my word of support for that mod you mentioned with different looks for the state troops depending on their battlefield role...

I've noticed something odd with the LODs using this mod where the distant, low quality LODs kick in way too early and look like a bunch of bald guys.

I'm interested in the all armoured melee troops. :D

@Adopotato I would totally be interested in that, it makes sense lore and artwork wise, and even reminds me of the Mark of Chaos trailer ; )

Ado i really like your mods, would you ever consider taking requests? the empire is lacking different regional troops, swords of ulric or hochland long rifles, or anything from talabecland or ostland? thats be awesome idk why nobody has done those, the empire in wh2 is neglected

Maybe. I really did like how they all had just the armour shown in the "Unique Empire Armour" screenshot, though. I'd even be happy just knowing how to remove the other variations myself in the files.

Hey spooky im making another version for myself, basically melee troops will have all armour (no tight pants or hats) range troops will have hats and normal armour and handgunners have puffy sleeves....would you be interested in that?

Yeah the more I look at it the more I wish I had the old leg and torso variations. Any way I can revert it back myself or any old backup version you could give me?

Say, could you go back to them having more of the multi-coloured slightly poofier leggings? Because the tight pants look rather bad with the general aesthetic of the rest of it.
