Oh thank you im pretty new to left 4 dead because i got both for $7.50 when it was reduced.

I just tested all four individual slug mods, and there was no issue.

You will get "clashing mods" issues if you try to use this with another M4 mod, like the Tight Buckshot standalone or the (slightly less powerful, not that it shows often) tight buckshot M4 mod built into the "Rufioh Nitram mix" or "Sableagle's gun mods, low-powered version." This one's meant to go with "Sableagle's gun mods, no shotguns."

This interferes with the other mods you made with slugs.

Rainbow: if that didn't work, first it's silly question time: did the reticle change to tiny, like the M16 reticle, and did you aim carefully? Silly questions, I know, but they're the first things to check. It's a bit easy to miss with this thing.

Assuming the l4dmaps file isn't working for you either and that you did indeed aim carefully, friend me and let me know a time, and I'll host a server and invite you so you can try it with me running the mod.

7 rounds is correct, if you keep topping it up, because you can get 6 in the magazine (the lower tube) and one in the chamber. You don't get +1 on box-magazine weapons because you tend to empty the magazine, replace it with a full one and carry on from there. Technically, you should get +1 if you change magazines before running empty, but you don't. With most shotguns it's pretty easy to shove a round straight into the breech while loading from empty, and you top up the magazine rather than removing and replacing it.

I've played today with this mod, and it worked for me. Adding video now. You could try downloading http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=20639 and extracting it direct to your Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons\ directory.

As with other weapon script mods, you have to put it on the server. It won't work if you just have it on your client and join someone else's server. It should work in single player or in any online game in which you're the lobby leader and you select "Local Hosting" for the server type. Just be sure to set "sv_consistency 0" in the console before you start the game.
