Thank you. :)

It wasn't necessarily broken when I marked it obsolete, just that I don't plan to continue updating it at this point. Good to know it still works though!
woostyboy 10. okt. 2019 kl. 8:10
As an FYI, I still use this on single player creative and it still works. :)

@Meridius_IX / Lucas Oh OK
Meridius_IX / Lucas  [ophavsmand] 8. apr. 2018 kl. 13:43
That slider was added in the last major update. Prior to that, there was no way to adjust the sun position (the devs had removed player access to the debug menu that contained the option).

I considered marking this mod obsolete, since we have that feature now, but there are other features that could be added (rotation speed, etc) so we'll see.
urEverydayBagelBoi 8. apr. 2018 kl. 8:46
you can do the same by pressing alt + F10. Clicking on space master,Then admin tools and ajust "time of day offset" :steamfacepalm

@SporkFortuna LOL WHAT A COINCIDENCE
SporkFortuna 15. feb. 2018 kl. 11:17
@sororfortuna I just had a double take looking at your name.
ig_alx 15. feb. 2018 kl. 10:18
@Abisius is right
Abisius Xarvenius Carbensius 14. feb. 2018 kl. 9:23
@WaR GeT_ReAdy @Twitch.tv
i wouldnt say that typing in a chatcommand is easier than moving a slider
SkittleZ 14. feb. 2018 kl. 9:21
We were able to change the time of day for ages now, this isn't obsolete, it's just a easier way to do it :2017meatball:
NorthyPark 6. feb. 2018 kl. 0:44
Yeah this mod is now obsolete. You can change sun rotation in the admin tools menu (alt+F10)
Mojo 5. feb. 2018 kl. 18:54
@ Meridius_IX, it no longer works in newest update, not sure if you had tested it yet or not, and no one else seemed to say so. :)
Meridius_IX / Lucas  [ophavsmand] 4. feb. 2018 kl. 4:51
@The Outer God - I believe it needs to be enabled. However, it seems like the most recent update may have made this mod obsolete. I haven't tested for myself, but it looked like there's now a slider in the space master menu (saw it on a few videos).
The Outer God 4. feb. 2018 kl. 1:25
Do i have to have the sun rotation on or can the sun remain stationary?
Sir.Raccoon 27. jan. 2018 kl. 9:38
X4nt4$t!k... if u cant understand his clear instructions on how to use this mod why even bother modding your game?
Spacebar 27. jan. 2018 kl. 7:53
Bruh. X4nt4$t!k he literally tells you how to use it. /SetTime (your desired number here). Wut
God King Ulv 22. jan. 2018 kl. 10:57
@X4NT4$T!K

"Not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on your project this tool will be very useful and beneficial " You've spent more time telling him what to do then just saying thank you or waiting to write a real creative criticism, also you've yet to leave a review...
KAL 20. jan. 2018 kl. 5:39
I'm going to try this mod and leave a review later on if it works and if it has bugs etc but I really think you should write a more descriptive section about how the mod works, for someone who doesn't mod a lot this may seem boring and like a task, never the less it's required for your audience to gain the best experience from your product, kinda like giving a kid a car and say here we go have fun....They will benefit from know what it dose and how it works, saying turn it on and go forward won't cut it, that's kinda what's been done here with the short description lack of information an other things stated in the comments! Not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on your project this tool will be very useful and beneficial but not everyone will no or want to spend time doing trial and error, as the creator of a mod this is something you should have spent more time on before publishing and giving a more in-depth description of your mod!
bumble 16. jan. 2018 kl. 9:34
Every value i put in puts the sun back in the same place..

I couldn't get it to work! So, I'll try it with the appropriate case later!
Xero 7. jan. 2018 kl. 3:14
Only thing is you might want to clarify it's case sensitive.
i.e /settime will not work, only /SetTime (unless i just break things ... probably that)
or you know, set it to accept /settime ###

anyways, works like a charm :)
Meridius_IX / Lucas  [ophavsmand] 30. dec. 2017 kl. 18:27
It should work with Midspaces admin commands as well (I have that loaded while testing). Im going to upload an update after the long weekend that should make it work better and also add some extra features.
Jinwoo Sung 30. dec. 2017 kl. 14:14
or does it publicly say the /SetTime command? and take a delay to work it's magic?
curious... VERY
Jinwoo Sung 30. dec. 2017 kl. 14:11
doesnt seem to work. is it that im using midspace admin commands????
Meridius_IX / Lucas  [ophavsmand] 29. dec. 2017 kl. 8:53
@Jupotus - Hmm, I wasn't aware of it not working with sun rotation disabled. I'll need to look into that.

It might be possible to set the rotation speed as well, I think I saw controls for that as well. I'll see what I can do over the weekend if I don't get too busy.
Jupotus 29. dec. 2017 kl. 3:46
Very useful mod after we lost the dev menu. Would it be possible to add commands to stop and start sun movement and also adjust the speed? E.g. /stop /start /speed ###
These would be very helpful when creating scenarios.
Also noticed the mod doesn't work if sun rotation isn't enabled in world settings.
Meridius_IX / Lucas  [ophavsmand] 23. dec. 2017 kl. 18:41
@plankton - It should work on DS as long as you're admin.
kinger 23. dec. 2017 kl. 9:10
it doesn't work for me, is it SP only cus im on a dedicated server?
BevansDesign 21. dec. 2017 kl. 21:19
Would it be possible to add an option to speed up the movement of the sun when it's night where the player is, or slow it down during the day? Naturally you probably couldn't make it work for multiplayer.
Wugo 21. dec. 2017 kl. 2:16
Nice job. Works great. Now I can skip the night again. Big thanks.:steamhappy:
KhorneSyrup 20. dec. 2017 kl. 14:30
Thanks! :D
COCKHEAVEN 10. dec. 2017 kl. 20:45
Wow guys, this fella just gave us all back a feature that Keen in their infinite wisdom took away and its only 4 stars?! Shame on you all for not thumbs upping!
Wanderer_308 3. dec. 2017 kl. 9:24
OMG, this is must have!
シモン | 𝓢𝓲𝓶𝓸𝓷 2. dec. 2017 kl. 5:17
Works if you use upper and lower case letters as in the description (/SetTime).
Darian Stephens 2. dec. 2017 kl. 0:22
Very helpful comment, ArceusHD.
ARandomKrilios 2. dec. 2017 kl. 0:21
Dont work.
superhappyalien 28. nov. 2017 kl. 14:48
Nice job
Fureversalty 27. nov. 2017 kl. 17:56
@Darian Stephens @ Boatsil They may have removed it, but when it was in the game, it was clientside, so only the person doing it would see it as day. Its good for SP
Darian Stephens 27. nov. 2017 kl. 12:54
@Boatsil
'this is so retarded you can just press f12 and change it from there lmao'

They removed that, though...
Or did they add it back in? I think it's still available in the developer version of the game, but I believe that one has extra profiling that slows the game down a bit.
Basil 27. nov. 2017 kl. 12:09
this is so retarded you can just press f12 and change it from there lmao
Tesseract 27. nov. 2017 kl. 10:11
Will this work on a dedicated server?
Dude 27. nov. 2017 kl. 9:46
Finally someone did this, man. Awesome stuff, thanks for putting in the effort to make this - Cheers lads!
spiritplumber 27. nov. 2017 kl. 2:37
How space engineers praise the sun
Darian Stephens 27. nov. 2017 kl. 0:24
I believe, the latter. Sort of?
NeonDrip 26. nov. 2017 kl. 23:59
Any chance you could add a /GetTime commend?

Also, does the number represent degrees, minutes, hours or fraction of the day?
puff-dwagon 26. nov. 2017 kl. 21:07
Yayyy, no longer do I have to sit and contemplate how long the day should be when starting a new game.
