I have made some signals/triggers (control panel) to get the power levels down to 1% while i'm not on board and this helps alot.
All-in-All it's a great ship thanks for posting her BP. :)
She's definitely a starter vessel, but the small size makes it cheap to upgrade with better materials. I upgrade it every time I get my hands on some sathium, starting with the windows and front first. There's even enough room to throw in larger thrusters, though I rarely do this as I like the low power consumption.
Maybe one day I'll do a premium/end game version.
I conducted two experiments one on the planet of Akua and another on the Moon of Akua and both results are the same.
Exp 1 - a) Main power off. b) O2 & Ventilator on. Waited 2hr real time with no O2 loss.
Exp 2 - a) Main power off. b) O2 & Ventilator on. Waited 2hr real time with no O2 loss.
@Tech2014 There's a minimum amount of O2 you have to have in the tanks before you can turn on oxygen. On this ship, it's 297, or about 17%. The larger the ship/rooms, the more O2 that's required upfront.
Otherwise, I double checked and she isn't leaking!

In 7.0 they re-did the neo calculations. Before it took 28 neo, now it's in the hundreds. What I can say, though, is that if you go with one of the other larger designs, your neo requirement will be in the thousands.
It's definitely a bit of work, though mining now is a bit easier with the voxel rock approach; one rock gets you quite a bit. Getting this CV up and running and putting a mining laser on it will help collect the thousands or tens of thousands needed for a larger CV down the road.
