I definitely did try my hand at e-mailing the TF Team for a fix when they first accepted it years back, but the answer was more or less that they couldn’t for technical reasons :( I’m a bit sad too, but could definitely give ‘em one more go to see if any solutions have popped up between then and now.

I really liked what it was supposed to be, it's so sad that an amazing war paint had that kind of end.

Very sad that valve didn't implement this spray correctly and never fixed it, hopefully if another of your's gets in with this glow effect valve won't be ignorant and lazy as they were that year

Man, going to this page is depressing. I could just imagine somebody coming across this, thinking "WOW this is cool and it's accepted. I'll see if I can find it on the rl or gl" and then finding it & being sad.

Curious, though, which texture did you replace to test it?

ahhhh thank you too!! when i received an e-mail back about scaling, they said as much as they would love to help out and fix it, it's not entirely possible for everybody to get a fix if they were to change around parameters to what i requested.

so in this hypothetical situation, if you already unboxed before this imaginary fix, you would still have what you originally unboxed, and only new unboxes of the warpaint would be affected with the fix.

i appreciate the kind words all the same, just thought i'd throw this info tidbit in to anybody wondering if i got word back also! i hope all of you enjoy this pattern nonetheless! c: <33

i e-mailed the TF2 team about changing the scaling since i noticed that too, hopefully we’ll see a patch that fixes things soon enough!

It was accepted, but Valve got the size wrong and forgot to add the tint.

Honestly, I think that adding little faces and limbs onto the ghosts makes it a bit less suitable with Team Fortress 2's artstyle, and a bit worse in general, bit it's still great.
