Honestly, I would love to use one of the Necroid races (more precisely, the Cyborg Necroids: https://stellaris.paradoxwikis.com/Species#/media/File:Necroids_02_portrait_brass.png and https://stellaris.paradoxwikis.com/images/d/d0/Necroids_08_portrait_orange.png ) as a Driven Assimilator/Borg instead of using an all-machine race. Why Paradox don't let us do that?

Interesting... I would test it, but it has taken me 2 weeks to clean-up my Music list. No more Music mod changes, thanks, but no thanks.

the patch is now a complete ship set and portrait mod

So far, it seems to be working with NSC2 Season 6. I put it lower in the load order than NSC. I haven't used the patch. I like the Borg advisor voice and namelist. *Hoping it doesn't break.

You could also upload it in a way that requires the original as a dependency.

You’d have to get permission from the mod author. If you can’t it’s generally considered OK to upload the mod stating that you’ll take it down if/when the author updates the original or requests it be taking down. There are several examples of this on the workshop currently, of someone reviving a dead mod.

I too would be interested in the shipset if you manage to get permission. Am leery of adding this mod due to how old it is.

I think it's best for you to use Star Trek New Horizons instead of this mod since the mod developer haven't understand this game for the reasons below.

@Jekred there is another easy trick just takes time if you have alot of other mods installed. go into your paradox mod folder and find the UGC.mod file and open it with a text editor(Notepad++ is the best) and change the supported version to the current update for instance supported_version="2.2.*" the Asterisk mark will allow it to update to whatever 2.2 version the game is in. I have used this method several times and it works

It appears that there's an easy trick we can use to get this mod working with the latest patch (2.2.3). Just extract the contents of the mod to a local mod folder.

I can't make any promises about late game stability yet, but, so far, I haven't seen anything out of sorts since I did the following:

1. Create a local mod (Launcher -> Mods -> Mod tools -> Create Mod -> Fill in "Available Mods", "Directory", and add a mod tag).
2. Find the folder containing the zip file for this mod on your computer (<Steam Install Directory>\workshop\content\281990\1182320116\)
3. Extract the contents of the zip file into the "Directory" folder that you specified in step 1 (%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod\<Directory>)
4. Restart the launcher so your mod appears in the list, enable it, and enjoy!

this mod looks really amazing and it seems you put a lot of work into it. its a sad shame that it hasnt been updated in so long. i'd really like to see this mod updated so i can enjoy it again.

I just tried the mod and only a few ships seemed to work for the mod. Not sure if this is the same for everyone.

All I want to use is Ships and Portraits. That said, sounds like ships work alright but portraits do not?

So, just for the people asking, the ship models still work just fine. Just everything else is broken, but personally I am ok with that.

You know, I'm not even the author, but all those two word comments that all ask 'please update' are beginning to annoye ME, what does that say about the author? I mean seriously, you can at the very least make a full effort and write something meaningful!
